    Round 5

Simmons is jabbing and placing his feet carefully with Mehmed offering little discouragement. Simmons tries different angles, busily moving around and taking his time setting up his shots, all short combos, many to the body. Mehmed is picking up his own attack, sweeping in a few pendulums to the body as Simmons circles closer, but only marginally increasing his connect rate.

    10-9 Simmons

    50-45 Simmons

Great little show, no trash talk, no mind games, just the truth their by too honest fighters, good friends but in an hour or so's time the will be going to war against each other.

I think Mitchell will take a decision tonight.

    Should be a great one.

    Aw, nuts!!

It looks like Diablo vs. Palacios II is going to run at the same time as Noble vs. Thain (and probably most of Simpson vs. Davies as well)

I was a little interested in those, but whatever. At least it won't come even close to conflicting with Burns vs. Mitchell which is of utmost importance here.

    Round 6

Simmons is jabbing accurately into Mehmed's face while circling. Not a lot of snap on Simmons' shots, just putting in the work and staying well clear of Mehmed's slow counters. Mehmed has a wardrobe malfunction, brief time out to remedy. Mehmed doubles a jab and gets slipped and counters with a hook to the body. Another problem sending Mehmed to a neutral corner. Ah, gum shield. Simmons paces impatiently while waiting. Simmons steps in with a hook as action resumes. Flurries to the head by Simmons, hooks and rights as Mehmed tries to stick out a jab to keep him off. Mehmed backhands his jab while loping after Simmons, before getting spun into the ropes and hit with a 1-2. Simmons moves in, working the body as Mehmed clubs him with a slow right hand up and down across the back. Jabs up top and rights to the body as Simmons pushes Mehmed to the ropes. BIG uppercut by Simmons, but Mehmed keeps grinding in against him to try and get off the ropes. Another uppercut by Simmons, and a few rights to the body. Mehmed slaps him in the back of the head and pushes down on it.

    10-9 Simmons

    60-54 Simmons

Now all I care about is Simpson and Harrison a little. But we will see Wlod-Palacios with no major Collision though.

He's sort of one-gear, but when he punches with intent he can put some lights out.

He's only got two knockouts in six wins so far, but he's been in with tough guys.

Wlodarczyk vs. Palacios II probably won't even clash with Harrison vs. Elfidh, at all.

Next is Jon Thain vs. Lee Noble, 6 rounds @ light middleweight. (with Diablo vs. Palacios starting around the same time or not long after) Then John Simpson vs. Dai Davies, 10 rounds @ super featherweight.

Up to 16 rounds and in-between filler time until Harrison and Elfidh are in action. Wlodarczyk vs. Palacios will be long over.

Yeah he'll be in some decent fights, just can't see him getting past euro level at best

True, but that isn't so terrible.

A lot of guys on this undercard won't make it past regional level, let alone domestic, let alone Euro.

If you're going to have only one exceptional trait as a fighter, power's a good one to have and can carry you through your ceiling with a bit of luck. :yep
