I agree he looked good but to think he's sharing a piece of the crown with Postol and Crawford is lol worthy.

  2. Did Broner not say he's moved up.

Eddie Hearn & Al Haymon should get together tell Broner he can either fight Burns or he can fight Brook. :yep

I think Bellew has more basic boxing talent so IF he can avoid the power shots tonight he might win but it is a big IF:deal

not quite the same. do u think martin can win the title 2 more times?. plus ricky has been in with the best at lightweight. :think

  5. People aren't taking into accout Makabu's chin.

I watched some footage of him the other day and when he gets pressured he does his best Lucian Bute impression where he starts to unravel. Plus he was knocked out by a bum who only got 3 other KO's in his career in 30 seconds on his debut. He's needs to avoid Bellew's power shots too, and that's a big IF.

Brilliant from Burns. Makes history as Scotland's only - and one of the few in British history - to win a title at 3 weight classes.

Probably see him drop down in weight again, as he says, he didn't have to do anything to make weight at LWW. 135 perfect for him. Flanagan and Crolla both there for him. Broner there at 140. He's in a good position right now.

  7. Think the Crolla fight is a real possibility. Both hold belts with the same body, both on the same channel, both with the same promoter, both have huge local fanbases.

R-Burns did better against T-Bud than most of his other opponents and that was an R-Burns who'd lost his mojo, was still nursing a badly broken jaw and would've been 0-2 in his last 2 had it not been for corrupt judging and one of his opponents suffering a freak injury. Rejuvenated R-Burns with his mojo back would Lacy T-Bud. :yep

Burns has the weakest possible claim to a world title there is. Vacant title fight against a low ranked bum. I hadn't much interest in this fight for that reason.

To be a champ , you gotta beat a champ as far as im concerned

  14. Who doesn't. :D

Broner is the best risk/ reward fight for any top fighter around that division.

In fact, the only risk a guy like Brook would take is if he spends a load of money on camp, then Broner gets locked up before the fight.

Makabu has an excellent gas tank, Bellew on the other hand, not so much.:dead
