I scored the fight BIG for Beltran, 9-3 rounds, 117-110 points, giving Burns rounds 1, 6, and 7, and scoring the 8th for Beltran 10-8 for the hard knockdown. This was one of the very WORST decisions anywhere in the world this year!!! Burns looked great in the 1st round, great workrate, good crisp clean punching, and he won the 6th and 7th by working his jab from distance and then quickly moving out of trouble. But from the 2nd round on, Beltran was the aggressor moving forward, and Burns was moving backwards and holding at every opportunity. Beltran landed all the harder punches, and did some immense bodywork. Granted, Beltran probably "stole" the 2nd and 4th rounds by doing his best work in the final 45 seconds, and I gave him the 9th and 11th as much for ring generalship and effective aggression as for anything he landed. But Burns "fought" a relentlessly negative fight, going backwards and holding, and never landed anything of consequence except sporadic jabs. Burns also showed none of the elite level defense he did earlier in his title reign, he fought almost standing straight up, no head movement, no lateral movement, just move backwards and hold, and it wasn't enough. At least the silent Scottish crowd and apologetic Michael Buffer ("regardless of how you scored the fight at home...") knew who REALLY won this fight. Add Eddie Hearn to the list of corrupt promoters who buy decisions for their fighters. Respect to Raymundo Beltran, the TRUE WBO World Champion.

Even Michael Buffer said "despite the scores at ringside..." after he announced the damn scores. Obviously, Michael is getting tired of announcing these robberies.

It probably doesn't feel like it now but tomorrow Burns will be very happy he is holding on to his belt. It makes him the winner.

Fcuk off and lay off the liquor, beltran dominated the whole fight. Burns was wrestling and holding on to the ropes at one point.

There was no way this was legitimately a draw. You'd have to be drunk and on ****ing ketamine to believe burns done anything decent beside hold on(literally).

Not to mention should have been deducted about 12 points for excessive holding in every round

Well done Ricky, I had him by 2.

No way did that fella deserve RICKY'S title, he was afraid to punch a guy with a broken jaw ffs!

Ricky took his best punches and he s*** himself in the final rounds, Ricky was the aggressor.

    Well done, c'mon da british!

So what? It was a landslide? I just score each round as it comes, and each as I see them. So keep you knickers on son, its an objective sport after all.

I only came in during the end of the 4th round and gave Burns rounds 6 (it was close), 7 and 12 (also close). 11 was close but quite clearly Beltran's too but all others went to Beltran and by most reports Burns won round won and Beltran rounds 2-4. So 9-3/8-4 type scorecard was probably most accurate plus the knockdown. Burns knew he lost the fight as did Buffer, the Sky analysts and most of the fans.

Beltran's interview afterward was brilliant and he hit the nail on the head in everything he said. Its a pity because why would guys (like Ward) come over to Britain to fight when these type of decisions happen. Its bad for boxing, bad for people who should have won money on Beltran winning and disheartening for Beltran himself.

Only one of the judges was from the British Isles, and he was English. The Yank scored it for Burns and the Belgian for Beltran.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but how can this fight end at 114-114 if there was one KD?
