Ricky's trying to establish the jab, Crawford looks dangerous

Ricky's jab is making this fight competitive so far.

Crawford is throwing more punches...that can't be a good sign for burns.

Crawford starts slow and doesn't throw many punches

Crawford isn't gonna let judges rob him

Think Burns nicked the first one, landed quite a few jabs.

    Round 1

Crawford is hopping around, hyperactive, throwing uppercuts and chops at Burns up close with both hands. Burns remains steady and works the jab, taking steps back and lining up his right hand as Crawford begins to calm down and flick double right jabs into the champion's forehead. Crawford is pecking in with the double right jab, having it met in midair by the check left jab of Burns.

    10-9 Crawford, close

Close round one, I think Burns edged it.

Crawford looks a little tense in round 1- I thought Burns controlled it with the jab, which got through consistently.

    1-0 Burns

I thought Crawford nicked the first round, outsped Burns, landed a decent left hook and some shortarm shoeshining stuff.
