Yeah that is true Burns would beat Broner.

I love ricky but broner would beat him via a wide decision IMO i can't see ricky winning more than 3 rounds, broner has every advantage apart from experience maybe.

I actually really like Burns and rate him top 4 at LW but I cannot see him giving broner any toruble, he doesn't have enough pop and broners quicker. He didn't beat a very good version of Katsidis so I wouldn't gauge his level on that....he is a very underated fighter though.....he's a smart boxer and he'll take a couple rounds vs Broner but most likely ends up getting stopped when the Can man turns up the heat plus Ricky don't want no problems, he already had the chance, it was all set up, he was scheduled to fight Broner in the biggest fight of his life getting the chance to do something few brits ever have done by headlining on HBO and instead opted to run from the division....i get that he was a tall SFW but he'll proly never get the chance to headline an HBO card again so it looks bad regardless, I'm sure he coulda pushed himself for one more fight and hired a nutritionist if he was confident he had what it takes to beat Broner who would also have to cut significantly as he's a big guy for 130 too.

Either way I like Burns, I'd like to see him unify with Vazquez....I think he beats Vazquez and having 2 belts will give him a lot of leverage and options vs the better known fighters around lightweight.
