it's not about age though is it? it's about what they have actually proven in the ring. and burns' resume is very much superior to broners.

burns didn't run from broner though did he. he clearly out grew the weight. he's a big lightweight as you can see. oh no, wait. you're american, you obviously don't see. because you're thick as **** as you've just proven with this god awful post. so wrong on so many levels.

burns does want to fight the best at the weight, so he'll have broner in his sights.

right now, i have it a 50/50 fight. i could see burns keeping broner on the outside with his long left and right hand. beating him by UD.

on the other hand, i could see broner beating burns with him being athletic and skilled. it won't be easy either way.

but if i had a gun pointing to my head and being forced to make a pick, i'd go with burns. he's the more proven fighter. he's got heart, will, a great chin, and he's actually got some very good skills. we don't know much about broner because he hasn't been there and done anything yet. he's just the usual hype from the americans. you know, the same americans who say they never hype unproven fighters like you accuse the brits of doing.

you better hope you guys don't fall on your faces like you have done so many times before. hyping them up only to turn around and call them bums when they're beaten. the near future will be very telling.

I imagine that knowledge of the game this in depth only comes from years of training, analyzing tapes, interviews with the luminaries of the sport and a sound, fundamental understanding of bio-mechanics and ergonomics.

by the way, burns was the favorite in that fight. people said he was going to win by UD, not by KO. and most definitely not as quickly as the forth round.

I'll put it like this, GJE if you want to put you and all your ALTS on the line in the form of an IP ban, I'll make a permanent ban bet with you if this fight happens. Either take the bet, or STFU...before the bet is consumated I'll need conformation that IB/McGrain or some mod can accurately retrieve the IP address and institute the ban. I'm not biased, I just have common sense and brace yourself...I actually watch fights. If you watch both guys fight, it's obvious which of the two is more talented and has the far better chance of winning. To say Burns "outboxes" Broner, takes an already idiotic statement, to an entirely different level. It's not bias, it's common ****ing sense. All that said, I'm aware this is wind up thread, something obviously lost on you. OP's don't believe this **** anymore than I do.
