I have criticised Ricky Burns as a character and personality. But i honestly believe that he could take 30,000 fans to Vegas, i believe he could duplicate what Ricky Hatton did.

Where-ever Ricky Burns fights in the country, he has always go the biggest support.

I think he is Scotland's biggest athlete, even bigger than Andy Murray.

How many Scottish people travelled to america to watch the US open..? And half of the people who support him at Wimbledon are ****ing English fake ****s anyway.

It's just that the BBC and Sky wank over Tennis! I also believe that the BBC is a discriminative broadcaster against working class sports especially boxing.

I'm not as confident as some about Broner,but it'll be a far closer fight than some people suggest.
Unification sounds great,but let's not forget who's promoting Ricky,and much as his personality is a big part of his appeal,he's not the type to kick up a stink with his manager and promoter.
He'd fancy his chances against anyone at the weight right now though.

ricky burns deserves the type of adoration ricky hatton had, burns has literally come from nothing and earned all this through sheer hard work a total dedication.

he really does deserve everything he has got and will get in the future.

 

I am not sure weather Ricky Burns would beat Adrien Broner, but all i want to see is hype. Like i have just stated before, Ricky Burns could take 30,000 fans to Vegas, maybe even 40,000 why not...? Scotland has **** all to be proud about within international sporting events "Apart from Andy Murry", but this will be their moment to let loose.

You cannot let loose, at a ****ing smug tennis match. What i want to see is real passion and tension between fans, possible violence aswell.

If Adrien Broner keeps building his resume, and some how breaks into the mainstream like Floyd Mayweather.

Burns vs Broner could be a massive fight!

For me Ricky Burns could even more up to 147 and face Ricky Hatton, that fight could possible shut down the nation and cause possible riots. Due to the type of following Ricky Hatton has, they are all hooligan type drug culture people. Ricky Hatton was a part of the cocaine and binge drinking culture that was at a all-time high, at the peak of his career.

Ricky Hatton was a figure head, and somewhat of a inspiration to these people........."He was one of them".

Ricky Burns has got the frame and natural size to move up in weight, and i think he is the type of fighter that he will benefit from moving up in weight.

To a certain degree, i think he is weight drained at his current weight.

 

if Broner beats DeMarco I will be gobsmacked if the Burns fight happens for two reasons:

1) the WBC have said they don't like their title to be tied up, especially with the WBO title so there is a good chance politics may ensure that it never happens.

2) Broner is meant to be doing a fleeting visit at 135 then moving up to 140.

Personally think if the fight happens it will happen at 140.
