Yeah I agree. I think it may not happen due to Wárren. Burns could easily beat him though imo. Broner is over rated.

Well that's not true, did you see the fight with Evensen the place was half empty and i hardly seen any Scots when he fought in Liverpool against Cook. In my opinion Burns is the 3rd best lightweight in the world behind Broner and Vazquez

the Evenson can be excused, it was at the start of December in the middle of one of the worst winters the country has ever experienced since the 70s.

Transport links to the Braehead are bad enough without having to drapes through 10" of snow and I ain't bullshitting on that either.

I was stranded in Perth at a drop in centre because of the weather which lasted for the best part of 3 weeks.

These are the wee things that people forget.

And how can Broner being in the top 2 at 135 when he hasn't even fought at the weight yet?

They blatantly ignore it on the news, and don't want to report about boxing. They only report about something if it is negative, they clearly are discriminative about boxing these days.

And boxing is far from dying, that's the biggest myth in sport today.

If Tennis, Rugby, Golf all started to put all of there big events on box office, there sports would soon disappear. People always bang on about boxing dying..? It's far from dying, it's just the optical allusion of box office.

Box office generates money, but it does not promote the sport! That was boxing biggest ever mistake............"And it is damaging the sport".

Boxing still has the ratings, put it on terrestrial TV it's did massive numbers.

I just believe that the BBC is elitest and smug at its core. Boxing has always been the working class sport, inside the ring and also outside of the ring.

Football is a working class sport to play, but if you dig deeper. It's also a elitest smug sport, which discriminates on the working class! and it's also racist.

Primadonna cool getta grip. 30-40k fans travelling to vegas from Scotland, what drugs you taking coz i want some. If you seen the shite that was at that fight on saturday and he don't get that many that would travel down to england, never mind America> **** most of them boys there would have spent their dole money to go to that. but if FW can rip off more Scottish fans with shite fights then he could get a few more fans on board.

I didn't work out of my office for two weeks because of that cold "snap". It was hellish and lonely, and by **** I would not have gone to Braehead in that!

The Richard Abril fight wouldn't be hard to make I don't think, he isn't a big name and would probably be willing to come to the UK to fight.

Probably to much of a risk but it is one unification fight that could be made over here.

Miguel Vasquez is another belt holder who isn't a huge name and migt be willing to fight Bruns in a Unification fight.

How can Broner be ranked ahead of Burns when he hasn't fought at lightweight?
