I think Garcia is the toughest of the lot, real 50-50 fight, Burns wins in Scotland, in America, not so sure. As for the rest, I think Burns deals with all of them, stopping Judah, Olusegun and Holt.

Nope, Burns says Lightweight for a couple of years, but Billy talks about moving up in a year so its hard to say.

 

He said for the foreseeable future he'll be at LW

Team Burns dont want it. They said they did.
Eddie Hearn dont want it. He stayed consistent with the statement.

Now rumors about moving up sooner rather than later.

1) He aint been in the ring in what seems like an age
2) He isn't fighting the best at the weight

I STILL say Ricky should have stook it out until after that Vazquez fight, he had a genuinely legit world class fight there. But I guess they couldn't wait around any longer, and with all the uncertainty, they moved on. I still say Frank would of got it sorted for the rescheduled date, no way would that fight not have happened after all the **** that went on. If it never happened at the later date, the Frank hate would of been even worse. I don't even think Frank would of taken that risk of a mega backlash.

All gone very quiet on the Frank suing Ricky Burns for breach of contract. I wont say anymore as it is a legal matter, but whats happened to that? Is it still going ahead?

 

He won't be accused of ducking fights at LWW, but he will be accused of running away from Broner again. Haven't we already seen this once in the last division? Broner claims they moved up and run last time. :huh

Like I said some time ago, Broner aint waiting around for nobody, his destination is "unknown", a chunk of fights at Welterweight and then Light Middleweight IMO. They are cruising through the divisions, they already know where Broner should be and will end up. He is far to big to be where he is, that is for sure, but they taking advantage and building a record like they did with Floyd Mayweather.

Ricky Burns was offered that fight and turned it down. The one time a world level Lightweight fight was on the table and "confirmed", he changes promotion.

Not gonna argue with that, but its just unfortunate circumstance after unfortunate circumstance. Hopefully he can be steady under steady Eddie from now on, and get the fights he SHOULD be involved in.

 

Broner is fighting Malignaggi next at 147 lbs.

 

Iv got a feeling his up and coming fight is gonna be a hard one.

 

Ah the Broner thing again. Teams not coming to terms that massively favour one team does not equal ducking

 

Mentioned the Khan fight on a different board as a fight I could see happening at somepoint at 140, if Khan had a belt at 140 and Burns was still champ at 135 the fight could be huge if marketed correctly.
