Billy looks down on 99% of this forum (except the Ricktards) who of course, all know about boxing don't they? :yep

Rosssco, you are the last person who should say what you think of other peoples boxing knowledge and expertise on here you're the most bias Ricktard fanboy out.

    Bit of advice:

    10 easy steps.

    1) Go away
    2) Buy a Scalpel (Toys R Us)
    3) Buy a brand-new unused fresh clear brain (Specsavers)
    4) If you need help with the following, please ask a responsible elder!
    5) Cut around your skull through to the brain, be very careful!
    6) Remove skull
    7) Remove old useless bias brainwashed brain
8 ) Insert fresh new one
    9) Replace top
    10) Log into ESB

....and then I'll talk boxing with you. :deal ? :deal

You see the difference between Burns and Danny Garcia is that Garcia even though quite basic has the power to put guys to sleep at 140 and its proven.Burns on the other hand does not possess that he does however have a good boxing brain and knows his way around the ring but you need some sort of power to compete against the top guys if your going to achieve anything truely special, you need to have some clout in your punches.

I see Ricky maybe unifying titles at lightweight but I don't see him going any further than that, great guy, great boxer and a credit to the sport.

As far as Adrien Broner goes hel be as good as he allows himself to be and anyone that calls him a hypejob no matter how much of a twat he may be is talking through they're hole.If he was British he'd be the best thing since sliced bread.

I agree and disagree with you mate,Ricky is so much stronger than anyone gives him credit for ask Bradley Saunders,Ash Theothane,Adil Anwar all big LWW and all had big big problems with Ricky's strength, speed and power, you will see come the 11th May what I'm on about.
Garcia would be a great fight yes Garcia punches hard but your underestimating his boxing skill set as well, although I have no doubt in my mind he'd struggle with Ricky's speed and movement in what would be some fight!

I'm probably wrong mate I'm just going by they're records and what I've seen them do in the ring,I watched Danny Garcia fight for the first time nearly 3 or 4 years ago and he knocked a Mexican kid sideways with the same left hook that iced Khan and Morales, that left hook is no fluke he's got great timing with it and usually lands it on the counter.I think Ricky may be the better boxer of the two hes got more variety in his punches and is a lot quicker it would be an interesting fight my heart would be with Ricky but my head would say Garcia because of the power.Garcia is by no means the best fighter at jrWw though,Lamont Peterson and Lucas Matthysse are the main men for me,that fight is going to be something special.

You also need to have more than just clout to achieve anything truely special in the game. Garcia has power, good timing and he sticks to the game plan well, as he showed against Khan, but he's not that great imo. Burns has anough sting to compete, plus he's getting stronger as he moves up. Im confident Burns will prove you lot wrong.

Of course if Broner was British he'd be the best thing since slice bread, i just think he's overrated, like i did Khan when some people thought he was the next best thing in boxing. Broner has an elite level offence and he's brilliant on the inside but he has flaws in other areas, like being slow on his feet and having a shockingly overrated defensive shoulder roll. Mayweather he is not :deal He looks teak tough tho.
Broners resume is probably on par with Ricky's and i would say Ricky has dealt with his opponents since winning his title just as easy as Broner, yet Broner's a P4P top ten while Ricky is no where near. Its an even bigger joke he gets put ahead of Froch. To be honest the more i think about it, anybody who doesn't think Boners a hype job is talking out their hole not the other way around. P4P list are pointless anyway. very subjective. If you look at P4P list going by talent and flair alone then yes put Broner in there, other than that, **** no.

Burns is teak tough and he's got a very good chin. Danny would have to land the money shot to ko Burns, Burns isn't stupid like Khan, he has a very good ring IQ so does Danny to be fair. Both are strong and have plenty heart, would be a good fight.

I agree with you about the p4p list being an absolute joke because it is and true fans of the sport pay no attention to it,we have our own p4p fighters for example Robert Guerrero is now in the p4p list along with Adrien Broner.Do either of those guys deserve to be there no,it's just a way to advertise and hype fighters. As far as Adrien Broner goes as a talent it's quite obvious he is something special,he might not have a great record but don't forget he's only 23 years old.Like I said hel be as good as he allows himself to be,I have sneaky suspicion he's going to get himself into some sort of trouble out of the ring rather than in it and that may put a halt to his career. Its a shame the Burns Broner fight never happened,I really hope it does at some stage because I'd love to see it and Im sure most of people on this forum would too.

Burns Broner at one of the big football stadiums would be massive.

The bellend Craney likes to tell people im a Broner hater and a Burns fanboy. Far from it. I think Broners very exiting but he's got flaws. He's superb in some areas but far from in others. Alot of people dont see Broners flaws because he's so good in other areas and he's not been matched with fighters who could expose those flaws, except PDL. I think Broner's great for the sport caus he's exiting to watch, im just not buying the hype just yet. Ree's did some classy work on Broner the first 2 rounds but it never stopped Broner plodding forward, it looked like Rees was punching on a tank. As all round natural talent goes guy's like Rigondeaux make Broner look shite, Broners not that special in comparison to Rigo, Mayweather and Ward. Im talking all round talent.

I just see something in Burns that makes me think he's going to be very hard to beat. Everybody talks about this nice guy and good technical boxer, but he's got a steeliness about him, a physical and mental toughness that makes him a bit more special than just a good solid fighter.

Broner will probably want to end up in jail so he can be more like his hero Mayweather.

Aye mate, Burns Broner would sell out a huge venue up here. You never know :good

I'm impartial and down the middle unlike you Rossco. I don't support fighters, I support the sport and I'd much rather have the opinion of someone like that about a fighter, than yourself, as you are clearly clouded in your views. If ever you want to talk bahxing with I, take the super-dupper pink Ricky tinted glasses of, and we'll talk.

As I said before months ago, my prophecies came true, especially in that Walsh vs Harrison Scotard explosion thread, and this one where Rob got sabotaged by over protective mad Scotsmen.

You're passionate ****ers, I'll give you that, but you're also deluded ****ers to.

Ricky Burns is good, but nowhere near as good as his fans like to make out. I get that, you support your fighter, I get that 110%, but stop jumping all over boxing fans with an alternative view to yourselves. You come across as stereotypical butt-hurt fanboys, the very thing most of you will claim to be against, but in the blatant denial of being. You're lying to yourselves!

As I said before Ricky has got support up in Scotland, no doubt about that. But that fanbase is getting worse, its like a million Audley Harrison's mouthing of.

When I said months ago and asked if you were all from Scotland, the fanboys got hurt and started denying that they were. :patsch

Deep down you KNOW, I'm right, you just hate and detest the fact that I am and it goes against everything you currently believe in.

"The group doesn't exist" "It's all in your head craney"

I appriciate the offer but it wont be anytime soon, going to vegas next week for the fight and then between my day job and prospect stuff dont think ill have much spare time . Thanks thouhg .

your spot on , when you see endless threads about boxers asccoitates/gamilys eg Saj/Angel Garcia and there antics you have to appriciate how Ricky is and how he conducts his buisness, now he might not have the highest profile of any WC but as it grows (and it will with the MR deal) people maybe will appriciate it
