Graham Houston and Hugh McIlvanney are infinitely more "esteemed" and superior writers to the two you just mentioned. Both British too. The rest is your interpretation, but your following point is weak. As usual.
atsch Hatton fought Mayweather and Pacquiao. Khan, despite is faults, has set out to fight the best. Burns meanwhile blatantly ducked Broner.
Burns won on heart last night and heart alone, was being outboxed throughout. Nowt up with that, happens everyday in fights, think he stands a good chance against broner
Ricky showed outstanding durability and heart however i fell he was a little outclassed and took a bit of a beating in the first 7 rounds
Good to see the ring have their finger on the pulse as per :huh Think this is the very definition of blinkered: http://m.ringtv.craveonline.com/blog/178827-burns-too-hot-for-chelo-gonzalez
I can see your point Doyle my record in world title fights is shocking 16 wins 1 loss 1 draw I hang my head in shame YOU ****
I thought Ricky was done for in round 7. To come back from that showed balls of steel. So respect for that. BUT Ricky looked like a complete novice in there for the first 6 rounds. Looked totally out of his depth. Don't think Eddie will be putting Ricky in with any good lightweights after that performance.
Ignore the haters billy yi canny please everyone Ricky struggled last night you admitted that yourself and fair play to you hopefully now with his promotional stuff sorted we can get him more active and fighting back to his best which is where he was getting to at the end of last year, Some set of gonads aswell as you said in the press conference i was holding my breath that 7th round praying for the bell.
I like Ricky and I think he's one of the soundest British boxers out there personality wise BUT... He was ****ing abysmal last night from a technical perspective, hopefully it was a case of being both surprised & totally unprepared for how good Gonsalez was. He's certainly on limited time as a world champion if he has another repeat of last night.
