Stop ducking the best, fight Vasquez, Gamboa or Abril and you'll have a point.

Your man was completely outclassed last night.

If Burns was completely outclassed he would have been defeated. Burns was outclassed for 5 or 6 of the 7 rounds he lost against a very skilled, awkward fighter, with courage levels no where near that of Burns.

It just shows how good Gonzalez is rather than Burns being poor. The way you know that Burns is world-class? He was still there after the seventh and he got the win.

You have to admire Ricky's heart he done Scotland proud again but it's just as well the Broner fight did not come off that would have been a bad night for him

Ricky Burns got very lucky indeed. Lucky that his opponent was a disgraceful quit job artist with NO heart. None.

Then to see you all celebrating like you'd genuinely come from behind to stop the guy like Corrales vs Castillo :rofl. Burns got his arse handed to him and his opponent pulled the strangest and most disgraceful quit job ever seen . You got lucky as ****.

this won the fight for Ricky in the end, had Gonzalez contonued Ricky was gonna sweep the rounds or force a stoppage

cant see anyone as awkward for Ricky as he was around at the moment, not even Vasquez, a big factor that made it more difficult was Gonzalez huge reach

still hope to see Ricky in with the likes of Abril, Vasquez and even Broner

Good point about the end of the 7th, Burns finished it on top

As for Froch, he is someone who was out boxed by Taylor , Dirrell and Ward but he is lauded, dunno why people are overly critical of Burns.

But last night did show Burns is not elite level yet. Although we should remember Calzaghe looked ordinary at times in his routine defences.

Calzaghe would drop to his opponents level whereas Burns was completely mugged off.
