Ricky needs to take Floyd off his gameplan straight away- he needs to hurt Floyd early . Sure Floyd will make Ricky look bad at times.
I really cannot visualize the first couple of rds- i hope its a war

hatton presses, of that we can be sure. i believe floyd thinks he is stronger than ricky and may well try to man up the first couple, could be a really busy start..

Hatton comes forward, throws more punches, cuts off the ring. Mayweather takes some time to figure him out, trys to establish a distance, and catches him a few times coming in.

My prediction (on the Lederman scorecard that is)? 19-19

I'm just thinking out loud here, but imagine if the first 2 rounds saw Hatton swarming PBF, and PBF getting a taste of Hatton's roughhousing and relentlessness, and not liking it, and staying away for a few rounds after that until he adjusts?

Could be we'll see a fight of 2 halves.

Youre right Muttley, and the ref is going to take a lot of heat from the PBF corner and Floyd will be complaining from the opening rd. I hope this does not cause friction in the crowd between the two sets of fans

i think it will be a really fast paced first 4 or 5 rnds, before both fighters settle into their rhythm for the rest of the fight.what those rhythms are will determine the outcome.

Yes. I see Mayweather taking it easy for first three rounds which Hatton wins, before starting to pull some rounds back. I'm predicting a draw

i think hatton will start at a furious intensity and establish an early lead before pbf gets on his bike and boxes his way back into the match.

hatttons only chance is to go for broke, if he throws over 100 punches every rd he is in there with pbf.the fight can and will be scored alot closer then what it really is.hatton can steal alot of rds just by out working his man but theres no out working pbf but he still can throw more punches and get the fans hype and the judges to.

at the end of the day the boxer beats the brawler, and when you have the best boxer going against a guy that is not even considered the best brawler then the boxer has to win.

Hatton is going to rush in throwing punches and tie PBF up, then push him off, rush in doing it over again.

Hatton has his best chance of landing when hes coming in from the inside on his way to the clinch. PBF will school him from the outside.

PBF covers up well and his style protects both his head and body well. I think he can cover up, avoid most of Hattons punches and then after the clinch, as Hatton pushes PBF back, I expect PBF to throw some good clean counters. PBF can punch well while moving backwards.

After a few rounds of this and when Hatton finds his bullrush technique isnt working and he starts to try to stay midrange, I expect PBF to give him a boxing lesson.

Hatton talks about how he is going to be relentless on the attack and work rate, but I suspect after a few rounds and it isnt working he will try some more boxing and start to loose rounds bad there. It is hard to keep coming forward when you arent landing the clean shots you want to and at the same time PBF is landing some flush counters. Also dont expect PBF to get tired, his fitness is probably even greater than Hattons.

PBF got DLH to fight the way he wanted him to, I think he can get Hatton fightin his fight as well after a few rounds.
