Ricky Hatton - A decent trainer?

    Ricky Hatton has been given his trainers license, good luck to the bloke. Hopefully this helps keep him on the straight and narrow.

    Do you think he'll make a good trainer? I'm undecided, yes he was effective and won world titles, but he was never Gentleman Jim Corbett when it came to the boxing textbook.

    He'll do fine, aslong as he avoids all advice on how to block and counter the ole 'right hook, roll under' :patsch

    He shared the ring with some of the best of his generation, won multiple titles...He might be a good trainer, why not?

    Maybe being technically flawed will motivate him to teach others on not making the same mistakes he did? You want your "kids" to do BETTER than you did.

    Any fighter who has acheived what Ricky has done is worth listening too ..Best of luck to him ..Any word on his relationship with Grahm ??

    I wonder if he'll use that big body bag suit that Graham used to wear for him to practice his body shots?:think

    Why not? There are probably worse boxers who have made better trainers.
