Mayweather is supposed to be a non puncher, yet has 25 KO's from 39, most of those at the elite level. Witter on the other hand, has 21 KO's from the same number of fights, at a much lower level.

Anyone can be Ko'ed regardless of level. You can have power at top or low level.

Hatton was Ko'ed by Floyd because he walked right onto a well timed counter with his chin not protected.

 

I still, and forever will maintain that Hatton is a class above Witter.

Witter might have actually stood half a chance 4-5 years ago. But not now.

 

The accumilation of punches is what did for hatton against floyd and he throws more punches a round than witter does and is inactivity in rounds could cost him dearly against hatton.

 

So they have (met/talk ****/pose for photos) face to face and still nothing has happened yet, nothing official. They should fight there aren't too many Big names in that Division and they are #1 and #2.

 

Hatton would have faced Witter if he knew he could easily win, but he can't easily win.

If he loses he probably loses half his fan base to Witter cause Witter will get big fights and big pays if he beats Hattonn.

I picked Witter to beat Ricky years ago, the fight hasn't happened for whatever reason. But Hatton has always been the same with his talk, "bring something to the table", now Junior has a belt, Ricky doesn't. I, for one, would give Ricky more credit for beating Witter than Paulie, wouldn't you?
