i have no time for hatton but the kid showed guts and class tonight in his respect for floyd.

 

A pity that Mayweather can show class after this fight and give credit where credit is due, but his fans can't.

Well if this fight wasn't hype so much, people wouldn't see this as a 50-50 match up, so just be glad people are expressing their opinions.

 

If Hatton had won, the Brits would never let it die atsch

Props to Ricky. I've watched his last five fights and I will watch him again. He did all he could. No shame losing to one of the best ever. That's like being upset you came in second to Tiger Woods. Or that you're the second best receiver in NFL history. I really enjoyed this fight. And both fighters deserve thanks for that.

 

It has been good following him, but he reached his peak tonight.

His limit.

The ride is over for me (not to be mistaken for disrespect or lack of appreciation), though he will still have a big following.

 

I still respect Hatton but he got KO'd. He gave 100% effort and thats all ya can do in the end. Credit Mayweather who weathered the storm and boxed masterfully in rounds 9 and 10 setting up the big left hook KO shot:good

Hatton was jobbed by Cortez though:-( I mean breaking it up for almost NO Reason at times is ONE THING, but? Allowing the old school Detroit Piston ELBOW ATTACK for Floyd, was TERRIBLE. No fair and firm this evening.

In the end Floyd showed that didnt matter! Yet, it was a biased performance on Cortez's part.

 

Vaseline?, maybe?

 

He showed alot of heart and give Mayweather a hell of a fight i wish it was the other way around,great win by Floyd finally he koed somebody.:good

 

I have never been more impressed with Hatton than I was tonight, all things considered. He is exactly what fans want to see -- straight-ahead, all-out, no-stopping fight to his last breath and a showman, too. He is great for the sport, and he will be in line to make some BIG $$$ after this fight.
