Ricky Hatton appreciation thread.

It was a great fight from both fighters tonight.Props to Hatton for pushing mayweather and makinghim fight.I was impressed with Mayweathers lack of arogance after the fight.I don't want to see Hatton fight Oscar I think he should move back to 140.Wouldn't mind seeing Mayweather and Hatton fighting at 140 in Manchester.If not it would be nice to see floyd fight Cotto.I couldn't believe merchant told mayweather he should fight Winky.Why should he fight that far above his weight.

respect to Hatton for jumping up possibly the hardest division in boxing to jump 140-147 and fighting Floyd Mayweather. The fight reminded me of Tito vs Hopkins. Anyways, Hatton is a tank and a true Force to be reckon with at 140lbs. I think we can all agree, that the greatness of Hatton's career will be a measure of his accomplishments at 140lbs and nothing anywhere else but there because he truley is much too small at 147.

 

He was beaten by the best and win or lose my respect for him and liking him was never going to change. What has changed is how much i now respect floyd. Everyone knows hes the best in the world but he proved a point in that fight by fighting hattons fight and still beating him , a class apart in my oppinion. I look forward to seeing hatton fight again and now floyd too which i didnt expect. WIN WIN for boxing and me lol:good
