I hate the way David Beckham is always hanging about, i would tell him to **** off..along with the other ***** athlete's and celebs. Oasis are sound though..
Hatton brings out the kid who is ill to every home fight. Hatton is a cool dude in my books. But honestly he should cut down the drinking at least!
Bull**** Mr Han Man!!!! Nothing to do with your post; just always wanted to make that reply to you. No hard feelings
hatton lost almost 4 stone for this fight - thats crazy - i suppose whats more carzy is him going back up to 148 - the thick cxxx will never learn
Wow! Hang on a sec!! Yes, he has had a few celebs take his belt in but for 38 or so of his fights he let James Bowers, a young lad who was terminally ill (considered to be) take the belt in. Unfortunately, James isn't allowed to fly due to his illness (Hydrocaephelus), so hasn't been able to go to USA with him. As soon as Rick gets home he visits James, takes him out or round to his. You see Ricky around Hyde all the time, drinking with his mates and kid brother or just walking around the town center alone or with his missus. Never once have I seen him with anything close to a celebrity! As far as I know, the only "celeb" to have spent any time with him in GX or Hyde is Floyd Snr!! Rick's guest list is huge and he has dozens and dozens of his mates, lads he's known all his life, phoning and texting him for tickets, which he normally sorts out for them if he has enough. Don't just presume stuff about people. Yes, he brought Liam and Noel and Rooney in the ring with him because it's a ****ing show! It's for the benefit of the audience, not his ego! For ****s sake!! EDIT: Also, have any of you boxed or played any sport to a decent level? I have (not boxing! Ha! That's a laugh!) and when things are going well you can begin to believe that it is due to outside forces, maybe become slightly superstitious. The point is, Ricky believes to an extent that he can do what he does due to his lifestyle. That if he was to be rid of it he would lose the fire or not be the same person or boxer. It is up to Floyd to convince him that it is his own talent and hard work that makes him what he is but with 2 or 3 fights at the most left, maybe he thinks it's too late or of little point. Personally, I would love him to enjoy himself for a brief period, as he deserves and then get really serious and show that he can compete with the best of the best (I firmly believe he can).
he said he would meet floyd half way, so maybe he will only drink solid for a month rather than 2 months
four stone? Do you have a link or something to back this up because that's an awful lot of weight. In fact, its obesity, plain & simple! If anyone out there thinks Floyd snr will put up with someone coming into camp two stone over-weight, let alone four, then they had better think again! Floyd snr seems like he's trying to help Ricky by telling to leave the too indulgent lifestlye behind, but it seems Ricky will not listen. As for Oasis, WTF do they know about boxing? If they give it large to Mayweather snr he would put the pair of them on the deck. Ricky better start listening to things he doesn't want to hear, rather than things he likes to hear. Its for his career, his health, his interests FFS! Floyd snr has made it public that he has spoken to Ricky about the excessive drinking, binge-eating etc. If Ricky doesn't listen to the advice & do whats required then its fair to assume they will not be together for a long period. So who knows, maybe Ricky's next fight will be his last & maybe Floyd snr will not be training him after all?
