i guess the check hook and turnbuckle hit him even harder than it seemed.

I don't think he meant in a disrespectful manner because in the press he was on a hiding to nothing against floyd were as philips and collazo took him by suprise. Watch the slating how get now for this point.

I'm not suprised he said this. Ricky probably doesn't even remember the Mayweather fight.

    NO

what ricky said was that he was more "beat up" after the fight than with mayweather, in that mayweather got a clean knockout, but didnt punish him as much as them 2 did.

you ONLY have to look at his face 2 hours after each fight to know that.

after the phillips fight rick looked like he had been beaten on by a large pole for 8 hours.

I would like to see what context he said this in. It's a pretty broad statement... obviously he doesn't mean that Phillips and Collazo are better than Floyd.

That he did but it was the accumalitive punches what finished him of not the single shots.

That wasnt the point. The point is Hattons spurious claim as to the Phillips and Collazo fights being harder. If thats the case the case then BAD BAD new for Hatton. Phillips was ancient and spitting more dust than an Egyptian Mummy in that fight. As for Collazo he got hit even less than he did vs Floyd. His full of **** and he knows it.

I think the ringpost was tougher than Phillips, Collazo or Mayweather. That had to hurt.

Hopefully, you are wrong. I don't want to see Nard end up like Hatton.
