Leading up to the fight, I'm sure he did. After a few rounds, you could see the defeat in his eyes. I really doubt he really believes he can beat Floyd now.

well the only person who would know would be hatton i would have thought.i think he means physically they were tougher.irregardless of what the gloaters say on here hatton wasn't given a severe beating by pretty boy.well beaten in the end of course but a sustained beating it certainly wasn't.against phillips as an up and coming contender against a wily and still dangerous opponent it was 12 very hard rounds for hatton.the collazo fight lets face it he wasn't in tip top shape at all and moving up for the first time he got through by the skin of his teeth,to him that must have been another really tough 12 rounds.against mayweather he had a long preperation time and physically was in much better shape.lets face it the first 6 rounds weren't exactly a tit for tat slugfest,it was only in the 2nd half of the fight that floyd really went to town and that was by no means in every round.it was more in the end a boxing lesson.i can understand that physically hatton wouldn't see it as tough as the others.he was simply bamboozled!

I was bamboozled as well by the skill level of floyd and the fact I'd had a few pints.

Mabye Ricky felt more beat up after those fights, more drained. Was hit with harder/more punch's?

I've seen the quote from Hatton and its pretty obvious what he means. Not that Phillips and Collazo are better fighters than Mayweather just that he took more punishment in those fights. Is that so hard to understand?

Well in reality. Floyd landed more clean hard punches on Hatton then Phillips or Collazo. Floyd battered hatton in rounds 8 and 10 like a red headed step child. I mean he literally got beat around the ring.

He certainly did in the Collazo fight, the fight went longer for a start....
