    Phillips barely landed on Ricky.

Ricky must have got tired from his fists bouncing off Phillip's head.

Does anyone else agree that Ricky Hatton knows which fights were harder for him, or do you ****ing losers think you know better than him?

    Get a grip. Please.

So I guess if Mayweather said Gatti was a tougher fight than Hatton then we should just take him at his word, and not dispute it?

But he didn't -- and wouldn't -- say this. What a ****ing stupid question. If he DID say it, then YES, seeing as he is the authority on his own fights. Were you in the ring that night? Have you EVER been in a ring apart from a gay man's?

No you're resorting to childesh name calling because you see your argument falling apart at the seams. Darchinyan claimed he was never hurt against Donaire despite the fact that he was knocked out and stumbling all over the ring. They even had to bring out the stretcher. But hey, he's the authority of his own fights. I guess we shouldn't question him.

The fact of the matter is, athletes are very competetive. They will say untruthful comments because of it. It isn't out of the question that Ricky is just saying this because he doesn't want to admit that he doesn't have what it takes to beat Lil Floyd.

In the interview I saw right after the fight Hatton merely said he'd had more punishing fights than the Mayweather one and ended up winning. TBH it would n't surprise me if this were true, the loss to Mayweather wasn't too bad a beating (as beatings go), I don't think its meant as a sleight against Money May.
