Ricky Hatton claims the Phillips and Collazo fights were tougher than Mayweather

If he thinks that he found the fight against PBF easier, then I don't know what he is chatting. But maybe he is saying the other fights were a lot rougher. But if he doesn't mean that he needs his head checked, and I am a Hatton fan by the way.

 

Hatton at that point in his career , was a little more inexperienced and Vince gave him a stern test..

Collazzio gave Ricky a tough a test as Floyd because of the weight leap , once again .. That should be the last time Ricky jumps up to Welterweight..

I'm no hatton apologist - But he looked 10 times worse after the phillips fight than the mayweather fight.

He's talking about phyiscal damage - cuts etc - Phillips looked like he dipped his gloves in wax and glass before their fight.

i'm glad you put that up.you've simply made my point.that is pal a boxing lesson.feints,jab downstairs to bring ricky's guard down,then the lead right upstairs.hooks,uppercuts it's all in there,even the forearm to the face,an all round schooling.just because there's power shots in there doesn't mean it isn't a boxing lesson.actually hatton showed a lot of balls and guts there,still trying to come back at the end of the round.

i am not defending him , i am staing a simple fact, his loss was much cleaner against mayweather, but there is no doubt about it, he looked in MUCH WORSE state after both the phillips fight and the luis fight.

it never supprises me how much you are willing to trash hatton without having a watched the fights. your a hater with no objectivity - who i am sure only see's what he wants to see.

in fact, i am supprised your even a boxing fan given you sucky attitude, internet warrior.

go look at pictures taken after each fight and look how much pain is on his face after each fight (say at the press fight conferance).

PS: i am a mayweather fan, a witter fan and a hatton fan. i like boxing not smack talk.

i am talking about physical punishment, its writen all over his seriously bruised face.

I never said he didnt get beatup by pbf, i said that his physical beating against vince was worse, interms of how long it took him to clear the bruises , ache's and pains of the fight.

mentally pbf's victory aginst hatton was far more devastating, but physically vince beat the **** out of him. (personally i scored that fight pretty evenin the early going).

lol no hatton won it, but it wasnt easy vince gave him one hell of a battring.

 

The second half of that fight was incredible.

It was pretty much the worst one sided beating you'll ever see, how Phillips was still standing I don't know.

Hatton was relentless and he absolutely hammered Phillips.

Phillips hurt Hatton with single counters that caught flush, but overall he got dominated.
