Everywhere I have read, Hatton's return is what they are expecting the "major Announcement" to be. However, nowhere I've checked has confirmed yet. So I'd really love if Hatton was coming back, Britain needs another fan friendly star that not only British fans can get behind and appreciate, but fans world wide. Carl Froch & David Haye (if he's not retired again) are the only two who fits that bill right now.
I just can't see Ricky doing anything at 147 mate, especially if he uses the tactics that he used against Kostya. Another thread just reminded me of how different and able Ricky looked when he beat Tackie, yet he became the money fighter at 140 using a totally different(and uglier) style. Why does the Bradley fight appeal? Because he likes a scrap? Ricky became very one-dimensional and that's not something you could accuse Timmy of but I know you'll give me a good reason. I was a big Ricky fan but this stinks to the high heavens for me. (any word on the MPG for me?)
I didn't get lunch today, let alone the chance to walk to the workshop, asked the Tech in the morning and he said there should be a button on the end of the right hand wiper stalk. That should change the readings on your dash readout, but apparently that's not so. :huh Yeah, Hatton got away from Boxing and began to rely heavily on mauling and smothering other fighters. I'm hoping that his work as a trainer has re-juvenated his ideas, and he realises that against someone the size of Timmeh, varying his attack wouldn't be such a bad idea. Foot speed. First thing I'll look for if he's come back. If he has lost that then there's no point to him doing anything, if it's still there then he has a starting point, and that's all he can ask for. I picked Bradley because the one thing Tim has done in all his fights, is out will his opponents. As far as a clash of wills goes, Hatton won't fold or get discouraged, unlike other Bradley opponents. If he can work his feet around Tim and open up the Americans body, then he has a shot. If Tim out hussles him then I don't think he punches hard enough to knock Hatton out. (Expecting **** for that.) So Tim wins, Hatton finishes on his feet, and can retire in peace. I'd imagine it's a horrible feeling, sensing that you have something left in the tank, and can leave a better lasting impression on the Boxing world, but at the same time, having that niggle of doubt that you could end up on your back again. If he wants to go for it, good luck to him. Those who dare to jump, come closer to flying than those who don't.
Hmmm you pretend to know so much LMAO Ricky only fought ONCE at WW dumbA$$. And he has been away for 3 years NOT 10
Would be SICK if the fight is against Khan. A tune up fight for both of them. Good for British Boxing.
Money's brutal beating of Rickey really did him in. He ruined him both in and out of the ring. PacGwire as always, comes in for the leftovers.
