Quite a good post, and accurate assessment. Ricky was drunk on his wins over Kozsta and JCC, and believed he could beat the elite. I feel bad for saying it, but Ricky Hatton will be largely forgotten, and if remembered, it will be mostly by British fight fans who enjoyed his humble background, and his desire to be great. I always liked Ricky as a person, but the excuses really cast a shadow on his dwindling career. He brought nothing from the Mayweather school into the ring on Saturday, and he has no one to blame but himself.
gooners it isnt what you said its the way you said it thats all. I didnt mean to annoy you. Just who says that, what time it really is. Regarding his skill set. just sounded like a geek trying to be cool lol
ricky delusional well of course he is,when he fought kosta he was finished nearly 36 and before kosta fought mitchel he was out for 2 years.it was not a great win at all kosta was there for the taking.just another good match up by warren, his fighters always fight washed up fighters.hatton fought feather fisted malignagii instead of holt or torres and bradley.everyone knows that malanagi was no good should have lost his two previous fights.hatton should have lost to collozo.sure even eamon magee nearly bet him.i say hatton will fight again maybe against a featherweight.but far play to him he will still get 50,000 people to fill the stadium
No coincedence your saying this "Irish" "Spiceboy" what sort of name is that anyway. Who you got Martin ****ing Rogan lol. He fights likes his pissed lol
You know what's funny about that, I don't know if he talked like that previously but just to me it seemed as though he talked alot in the 3rd person after the Mayweather fight. As though he thought of himself as a British Floyd Mayweather Jr. Talk trash like him, hire his father to teach him to box like him, talked alot about how much money he was making, etc.
2 months ago I placed Hatton #19 on my P4P list and heard that this list is crap cuz there is no Hatton in top ten... Hatton is a good fighter, fun to watch, hope that he doesn't retire
