I'm thinking part of the reason why he split with Warren so he can go back to Sky Box Office for a one fight deal to cash in mega bucks in pay per view sales - to bump up his pension purse even more

Nothing been confirmed yet - but I'm sure Calzaghe will go where the money is because it's obviously become his God now - so proably USA.

Cardiff would be for the fans.

Joes not about that now - its all about the money

You really are razor sharp aren't you?

What I don't get is why he didn't want to give Warren a share of his money. Perplexing that eh? Just unexplainable.

Joe has fought most of his career in Wales and he was endlessly criticised for doing so

Now he fights in America and he still gets it

    Christ :lol::patsch

I took one look at him on my plate and chucked him back in the ESB pond, where he is a mere goldfish and is continually hunted down by Great Whites like myself

You'll no doubt find him talking **** in threads involving Hatton, probably this one but I can't be arsed to check.

No need to check, nothing you haven't read a thousand times before.

To be fair, Sleaze has given it a rest lately. Been schooled far too many times now.

I can't actually wait until Hatton/Calzaghe are retired in a funny sort of way, and we are forced to focus on something and somebody else. We'll get the new breed of idiot, but at least a different subject matter.

Khanmania will go into overdrive, but we can discuss Haye and Froch more often.

If those three are the future of this forum then its ****ed. Khan is chinny, Haye is a massive question mark at HW and Froch just isn't that good.

Maybe this place dying wouldn't be such a bad thing. I think we've all become a little too close for comfort.

Well, its the future of British boxing not just the forum

No doubt the same old topics will be rehashed in the form of historical debate and legacy, so fear not.

Incorrect TFFP, Joe Calzaghe has fought most of his career in England.

As far as the dig, from some, toward those who are sticking up for Hatton goes. I could understand it if a Hatton a nut hugger started this thread stating that "Wicky was doing it for the fans", believin what had been said, and stated that the "Pauli fight was the fight of the century". That isn't the case though. It's just another Hatton hate thread, you know that, I know that, we all know that.
