Yes, Rickys style is to throw a punch or two, hold and punch while holding and hold again.

I cannot believe the amount of holding, hugging and rabbit punching he did against Zoo. How did the ref. never even warn him?

STFU. Ali only I repeat only clinched when the OTHER guy decided that boxing was not a good thing and they went on in trying to rough him up. Or if a guy got in his chest in which he could not box him. Hatton comes forward and holds. Big ass difference. :D

Another reason why Hatton breaks the rules of boxing, if the other guy is not running from you........why are you trying to hold him. Why not fight him on the inside if he is standing right dead in front of you. You know, if you are a so called very good in-fighter. Holding a guy like Ali who was a so called runner and damned for sure a pot shooter(funny how the Floyd haters just leave that tidbit out...actually ali used his legs far more and the whole entire ring more as well. Very rarely got into an exchange of punches and if he did he landed his and MOVED) that would be excusable. But just holding for no damned reason to the imagination but the obvious that you are avoiding actually fighting the guy is unexcusable.

Oh yeah...when frazier BULLYED him along the ropes..oh wow.......With a guy like frazier coming forward constantly....I guess that wont happen. The funny thing is that Ali was not a so called pressure come forward monster like Hatton is supposed to be.....so why the **** is he holding???????????????????????????? Frazier didnt..........:lol: ****ing clown you cannot **** with me. Go play somewhere.

Well, when you are boxing past your prime by about 2-3 years. I guess you do anything to get the W. But when you are in your 20s that is cool. WOW.

Typical Hatton fans....when they have **** shoved in there face they are quick to bring up all kinds of other irrelevant **** that has nothing to do with HATTON CLINCHING illegally. And never getting a warning in the UK. But got warned in the first round of the Castillo fight. Makes you wonder.

At least Hatton has some boxing ability. He does hold, certainly, but nowhere NEAR the extent that Ruiz did. There's a difference between using holding as a SUPPLEMENT to actual boxing ability, and using it as a REPLACEMENT for it. Hatton comes very close to skirting that line, but unlike Ruiz, he doesn't cross it.
