Floyd Mayweather Jr. fought his first welterweight fight November 2005. In those 4 years, he has not fought with any of the following welterweights:

. Retired at age 30, after beating a natural 140 pounder Ricky Hatton. Came out of retirement to beat Marquez who last fought at 135, and made sure he was 2 lbs heavier than the agreed weight. Maybe Ricky has a point, he surely isn't just talking out of his ass on this one.

Floyd did get a split decision on a 154 lb. 35 year old boxing promoter. That's why he's P4P #2.

Ricky would have fared better if it wasn't for Joe Cortez. It was obvious Joe Cortez was biased for Mayweather.

Mayweather only likes to pick on guys he knows he will beat. He likes to fight small fighters.

The thread is not about Pacquiao either, which makes your post curious.

He's only ever fought about 3 people shorter than him I think.

PS Yes I know it's not all about height.

    2 1/2" taller than Floyd.

And to whoever asked earlier if Corrales was a slick fighter, he definitely was not.

How can someone who's a 5 weight division champion achieve that fighting smaller guys?

If he doesn't fight Pac then he's scared beyond imagining from Pac, if he fights him he's fighting a smaller guy. He already said it, if he fights Pac then people will say he's smaller like Marquez. What happened to all the "PAC IS PROVEN UNLIKE MARQUEZ" talk?

Keep the ******ed criticism up, even if he signs to fight God then he's ducking Satan.

Hatton will never get over the Mayweather fight. He never has. He was mentally done after that fight. He said himself he cried for weeks afterwards.
