It could happen. We all know Maweather would knock seven shades out of him again but with a bit of media spin I'm sure they'd convince the sun readers that Hatton could win, could even be the footie stadium fight Hatton's been banging on about for years.

 

No it shouldn't happen because as people know I am a big hatton fan but even I reckon he'll get leathered.

 

Hatton dose'nt give a flying **** as long as he gets paid plenty + he loves all the attention it'll bring & who knows how much he had invested in Icelandic Banks:scaredas:

If hatton had any interest in revenge he would'nt be after Mayweather it'd be Pacman who wiped him out & i don't think we've heard Hatton mention Pac's name once have we:smoke

 

Doubtless, the thoughts of "pound-for-pound champion" still lurk embedded in his deluded skull.

Actually lads Hatton doesn't really wanna fight again. Its his Dad and gareth Williams who keep on pressing the issue. Wonder why that is ??????? :-(

 

Yes, can't say Hatton seems to give a **** if he fights again, otherwise he would have done something about it before now.

I hope it doesn't happen. Ricky has been a solid world champion over the years, he ultimately came up short when mixing with the real elite of his time, but at least he got in there and got some publicity for the sport. It would be nice if he could leave with a win in front of his fans, but that would never happen against Mayweather. A winnable fight against somebody who doesn't punch that hard would be good! Shame he's already fought Paulie. But I guess money talks, so sadly I wouldn't completely write this fight off.

 

'Money' talks, but no-one in the world wants to see this fight, it wouldn't sell PPV in this country and HBO despite being Oscar's buddies haven't put re-mismatches on before so just couldn't see it happening.

I agree with the comments about Hatton not wanting to fight whatever the bravado.
