If he loses the fat healthily over an extended period of time, I think Hatton has enough left in the tank to take this.

It would be a GREAT way for him to go out too, it would make a massive statement.

    x3

This is the fight that could get him most motivated, a good camp - unlike last time which was clearly a joke, a bit of hunger and quite a lot of fear and desire to rip up Warren's meal ticket and I'd fancy Hatton to stop him.

Shouldn't judge fighters by their last fights too much. Two fights ago Ricky was outclassing Malignaggi and three ago Khan being KTFO at LW....

Hatton would be favourite, trouble is losing 60lbs+ to make weight, daunting to say the least.

I think Khan now is all wrong for Hatton, and hand speed is something which Hatton has trouble with because his lack of real defence and head movement. Hattons defence is based on come in close and not giving distance and holding on. Khan's has a longer reach and would be on the move coming in out landing at range on Hatton.

I see this a very winnable fight for Khan, and with Roach training him he knows Hatton well.

Forget about the fight in the ring.
Just imagine the violence outside of the ring if this fight happens.

This fight would **** me off. Hatton is miles from his best and on the way down bigtime and khan is on the way up.Khan has a very good coach and hatton has lee beard...
Speed kills in boxing and and due to hatton taking ridicolous amounts out off his body.(more than any other boxer i can think of) his reflexes would not be there and he mite even be put down by a feather fisted puncher in khan,it would be embarrasing for hatton to be retired by amir khan.
I could see this fght being like the kotelnik fight but khan may even stop him late on.
I would rather see hatton get retired by JMM at least somewhat a modern era great.
I would love nothing more than to see Hatton smash khan to derail his career and shut up freddie roach who has been disrespectful to hatton to say the least but can't see it happenin now

same trainer, same conditioner, same gym, sparring partners.....

more in common than u think

difference is pacs at the end of his fighting career and has fulfilled his potential whereas khan is right at the begining of his career, a career that i believe will be very promising. A world champ at 22 after 22 fights, come on impressive to say the least. With ariza as ur conditioner, and roach as ur trainer in the wildcard gym, u cant be in better hands, plus add khans determination, ambition and speed and uve got a recipe for greatness

i really dont like this fight tbh...

So if hatton wins then what? Hes taken a lot of punches and been absolutely brutally koed. He'll probably want to carry on and he'll get a fight vs a top fighter especially as his fan base will 'follow'.

....then in all likelyhood he gets koed again...and then what? Are we to hope he isnt gonna end up like Freddie Roach or worse? I doubt he has 1/4 of the punch resistance he once had.

You've had a very good long career Ricky. Is there really a need to comeback?

he wont catch khan, and certainly wont beat him. Freddy roach knows hatton inside out and as khan showed against kotelnik khan can follow a gameplan pretty well.

Gomez dropped khan and yes so did limmond, kotelnik punches harder than both of them and he didnt drop khan.

Since khan has gne to the wildcard ariza, khans conditioner has transferred weight from his upper body to his legs, which will help enable khan to take a shot. khan had very skinny legs pre- prescott.

pacquiao got knocked down by barrera, a super featherweight yet he managed to take everything cotto has. yes the two fights were in different weights i appreciate that, but pacs legs esp his calves are enormous thus helping him to take shots better. Similar with khan i think now he will be able to take a shot much better

******ed comment there by Beeston Brawler, Warren has made Khan a fortune and got him an easy world title - only months after he got brutally sparked. Warren has done a fantastic job as a promoter.

He might not have the respect of core boxing fans but he's coining it in of Joe Public so whats more important? To answer my own question, depends on what you value.
