Anyway, I actually agree with bladerunner. I don't think Kostya merited a number 2 ranking at any point even with Hopkins defeat to Taylor prior to the Hatton bout....he was simply too inactive from 2002 until 2004 to warrant that.

 

And anyway, if Hatton fights Pac Man its a freakshow disgrace. I have my doubts over whether he can even beat the best at 135 so lets not get ahead of ourselves eh chaps.

 

Hatton and Pac are the same height, and pac has a two inch bigger reach, why is it such a freak show.

Pac destroys Juan Diaz. Hatton destroys Pac.

Pac would land more due to his speed and would hit harder than Juan Diaz. Diaz is there to be hit, hes not some defensive maestro. Really, what will he do against Pac? Pac has the stamina to go punch for punch with him down the stretch and commonsese dictates that if one hits alot faster and harder, he wins?

Hatton is a different story. He has great boxing skills, he can dodge Pac's left easily, he can bully Pac in clinches completely throwing him off his game, he can take the punishment alot better and he would hurt Pac with body shots. And Hatton is pretty damm fast too, specially on his feet.

 

It is the Ring end of year rankings in which Tszyu was P4P no 3.

That is just boxing rec reporting on it. The Ring had Tsyzu at NO 3 P4P.

 

Hatton - Pac is a mismatch - size does matter!

The credit Ricky would receieve would be minimal, the equivalent of Calzaghe beating Mayweather - a step too far.

 

DLH fought Mayweather (P4P #1), Hopkins (P4P #1)

 

Hatton is the same height as Pac and pac has a two inch bigger reach.

Calzaghe is 6ft and Floyd is 5ft 8.

I realise there are other criteria when it comes to size, but that is a silly comparison.

If Hatton fights Pac, he would be getting in the ring with a man as tall as him and giving up a two inch reach advantage.

If they fight at 140lbs.
Hatton can KO PAC!
If they fight at 135 lbs
Pac can KO Hatton
