Then we won't see him anymore,I'm kinda going with Malignaggi,I like him ore in this fight,Floyd sr. sure as hell won't help Ricky more at this stage altough he ''is the best of all time''

Malignaggi is a clown. It baffles me why people rate him, he's best known for showing a good chin but getting his face re arranged against Miguel Cotto. I'd be amazed if he beats Hatton, even if its a Hatton past his best.

He shouldnt even be getting this fight mind as Ngoudjo beat him fair and square and he was dreadful last time out against Ndou, though I'll let him off that one as he'd already dealt with Ndou properly before..

He is a good boxer, with good speed and has a good chin,he can take Hatton. And it was a close fight with Ngoudjo,it could have gone either way, more likely he won that fight.

Paulie's featherfisted, but he's a great boxer and will land more shots. Granted they won't hurt, but he'll take a 12 round decision.

I think Floyd will teach Hatton a couple of new tricks but more than anything i believe Floyd will have Hatton doing thinks Ricky used to do but had stopped doing after the Tszyu fight.

The past few years Ricky has been fighting rather one dimensionally and a lot of people tend to forget that pre-Tszyu Ricky, although fundamentally a come forward brawler, did have a boxing brain and was a decent boxer. He had very good footwork and would dart in and out behind an underratted jab, throwing crisp, hard combinations.

So, in my opinion, Floyd won't be trying to turn Ricky into some type of counter punching defensive fighter but rather turning Hatton into the fighter he was a few years back; a thinking brawler. Ricky has pretty much admitted this himself in recent interviews.

Mallinaggi hasn't been to impressive lately but even if the best Paulie turns up then i think Ricky will beat him if he fight's like he used to. However if the best Paulie turns up and the latter day Ricky turns up, jumping in with wide hooks then hugging Mallinaggi thus smothering his own work the Mallinaggi will win on points.

That is a bit presumptuous... I can see how you think that Hatton may win- or even win by KO- (although i disagree) But to say that they aren't in the same league is just not smart talking. Paulie is arguably the best guy at 140- and if you are a Hatton fan, you shouldn't badmouth your fighter's opposition. No one wants to root for a guy who fights bums-

Erego, either give Paulie his props and admit at the very least Paulie is a worthy opponent, even if you think he will be knocked out, or denounce Hatton as the best at 140 who takes easy money to push his career along.

Manjanek's opinion: this fight goes the distance with Paulie ahead by 4(+) rounds.

He won't retire. Hatton's fights come down to whether or not the ref is going to let him hold and punch more than Ricky's skill set. Malinaggi may not be there for the holding. Paulie by UD.
