Ricky Hatton admits that his performance against Lazcano was poor and reckons he'll be a different fighter come Malignaggi.

I hope he does put on a show for this one but how many more fights are there left in Ricky?

I hope he's right because the rest of his career has some excellent potential match ups should he have a few years left in him.

It seems though that since the Tszyu fight there's been excuse after excuse with regards to his poor performances.

    Collazo - Weight problems
    Urango - Flu
    Mayweather - Referee
    Lazcano - Nerves

He has slipped and i think the Mayweather loss has affected him a little mentally, but as Warrior says he still has enough to beat everyone currently at 140lbs.

If i was Hatton after Malignaggi, who i think Hatton will grind down in 10, i would go forthe Pac/DLH winner (if its Pac) or look for a fight with JMM if he would be willing to go up to 140.

:good IF Pac somehow beats dlh, that is definetly the fight ricky should chase,if/when oscar wins, rather than moving up to 147 which ricky is clearly not suited for he should fight jmm who in my opinion is p4p no.1&wants the fight.

It does seem like he's come up with an excuses all the time yeah, add to lazcano that flu/bug he had. Hopefully we'll see a good performance against Malignaggi.

More importantly Toffee Jack is your avatr from Howard the Duck?

He looked terribly rusty against Lazcano; his timing was off, his workrate down, his punch resisitance a bit suspect, and he appeared even easier to hit than usual.

The Mayweather fight does look like it took something out of him.

I would say that he is deffo on the slide right now.

Id still favour him over Pauile (whose only claim to fame, if we are honest, was lasting 12 rounds with a weight-drained Cotto), but only by a 60/40 split.

Hopefully he'll get some of that eager to please mentality out of his system and get back to quick sharp accurate opunching rather than lunging at everything that comes withing 20 feet of him.

Sloppy more than anything, i thought against Lazcano...............but for some reason I'm glad Mallinaggi aint a banger.

    Yes, classic film!

I was only a kid when I last saw it and my best memory of it was some woman duck sitting in the bath with her tits out.

I must watch it again some time.
