The Baldomir fight was his first boring fight in years. He's basically been on and off in terms of entertainment level and strategy. Saying he's always a no action hit-and-run fighter is as ignorant as saying that Hatton has always been a dull hugger his whole career.
Got to be said though as good as he is Mayweather didnt look very comfortable on the occasions when DLH was put pressure on him, and i think in most peoples opinion it was more Oscar throwing it away rather than Mayweather winning it...difference Hatton is in better physical condition and wont be fighting in 30 second bursts like Oscar was, thus will give Mayweather alot more problems think most people think
Well, Castillo truly beat floyd. (the ring had it as castillo beating him by 4 points) ANd Ricky ko'd him in 4. Rick's power will be to much for pretty boy.
Thats the problem with you dudes. Boxing is about hit and not being hit, FLoyd does that to a T. But yet dudes like criticize him for it. Maybe if you boxed yaself you would respect his style. Cuz i dont know wat boxer likes being hit. So if you can hit and get away from danger and still manage to win fights then I dont see why people dont appreciate the style. People just h8, b/c he talk **** and continues to win.
If the fight was gonna be fought on the outside then these factors would come into play...Hattons not that stupid though
"I'mma punch him right in his beer belly when I see him. Little *****" :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
People talking like floyd will destroy hatton are lost. Floyd might win a close UD, but there is NO WAY he will destroy Hatton. Hatton will hurt Floyd more than vice versa. 55/45 fight at 140 and I will bet heavy on Hatton if the odds are good. Floyd is the most overrated fighter in history.
You're crazy if you think the Castillo Hatton fought was even remotely close to being in the same form as the one who fought Mayweather. You're even crazier if you think Hatton's "power" will play a big factor in the fight. As if Hatton hits harder than Oscar, Judah, Castillo, and Corrales.
I was hoping Oscar would do the deed. That would be a worse beating, most likely a KO. However, Floyd will win a lopsided UD. Ricky should ask for a LOT of $ for this one.
Boxing is about effective punching, if you can not get hit, thats an excellent sign of skill, if you avoid a fight entirely, that is not boxing.
who told you that? Boxing is to hit and not get hit, If you want to get specific well I guess you can throw effective punchin in I guess. But bottom line is to hit and not get hit. And if you ask me, Floyd does that perfectly, and also punches "effectively" his landing percentage is quite high when he throws if im not mistaken. So I dont see why people hate his style. People 4get Floyd is damn near smaller than all his opponents, why would he go into the ring and try 2 trade with bigger dudes, and get potentially KO'ed. That would b foolish. floyd does wat he is suppose 2 and thats WIN, at the end of the day he leave with a W and thats all that matters. Take up some boxing lessons dude, and evry1 you fight make sure they are bigger than you, and you listen to larry Merchant on how to box, and I will come visit you in the hospital:rofl.
