That interview is hilarious... PBF trys to make out that Hatton cant sell tickets like him.. Hatton could sell virtually the same number of tickets in Vegas as PBF...that is Brits flying to the US. In terms of domestic...PBF thinks he could come and sell out a "soccer dome"...yeah mate, if you were fighting Hatton. Anyone else and forget about selling 5000 seats. He cant even sell out at home on his own name. However, PBF would/will dust Hatton. It wont even be close. Mayweather is simply one of the most gifted fighters ever and Hatton is just a good fighter. PBF has won on cruise control against very very good opposition, once angry or on a mission to prove a point.......sorry but he is another planet to Hatton.
Another Classic PBF **** spitting, meltdown, festival:good "i'm gonna punch Hatton in his fat beer belly??" Ricky Fatton ,ight represent the HUMAN side, BUT RICKY HATTON is the one climbing between the ROPES. That guy was in pretty damn good shape for Tszyu and Castillo, gotta figure he wont have a beer belly in the ring Maybe Hatton will SMACK Floyd like one his :censored ?? It is a WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS AFTER ALL artytime C'mon get the money right, Mayweather vs Hatton would be a HUGE event, BIG STAGE,between two PRIME, UNDEFEATED, CHAMPIONS, in the same peer group squaring off. This audio clearly expresses a little thought and interest from Team mayweather
Everytime Hatton takes on a top fighter we get Hatton is going to get pummeled and he is not in their league and so on...then he wins and we hear oh!..he fought a washed up fighter on the downside wait till fights a top fighter again it was a fluke or the best one what about the Collazo fight. I am not saying he will beat PBF or he will lose just that he has proved the nay sayers wrong...43 times
Its quite simple, effective punching is the main scoring criteria listed by almost every athletic commision. Hit and don't get hit is amateur boxing, hit better than you get hit is pro boxing, if you can't see the difference watch an Olympic bout in the modern era compared to a pro bout, "Hit and don't get hit" is obviously a good way to describe winning a fight, but there is more to it than that, how you hit and get hit matters, that is what seperates Pros from Amateurs. Boxing was never intended to be some sort of elaborate form of tag, what you do with the shots you get in counts, not just the number, again, this is what makes pro prizefighting different than amateur boxing, hell it is what boxing was intended to be about, it is the very soul of the sport itself. And for the record I have actually boxed, unlike most on the forum.
That's IF Hatton is able to get past the reach and not get caught with sharp shots while's coming in, or counters on the inside, like Jesus Chavez did when he fought up close with PBF. DLH gave PBF the most trouble with his jab more than anything else, a terrific long jab which Ricky does not possess.
Excuse me but who are you kidding ?!?!? The old timers personified the art of hitting and not getting hit and that art was perfected largely because fighter fought so often they had to try and save them selves so they could make a living. Fighters like rick would have been a lump of scar tissue by the time he had his 30th fight that if he made it that far.
