I don't see why at the end of the day it was Hatton's camp who called the fight off. They should have pursued negotiations.

They had already agreed to the deal 3 times. If Hatton plans to fight at Wembley in June, plans have to be made now to nail a date because of soccer finals & pop concerts around that time.

Probably because the actions taken by Pacquiao in this situation weren't only ridiculous, weren't only stupid, weren't only crude, but downright OFFENSIVE to everyone involved including both Richard Shaefer and Bob Arum, Freddie Roach, and Team Hatton. OFFENSIVE to EVERYONE.

    The Hatton's didn't offer a 52/48 or 55/45 then.

    They stuck to the 50/50.

They made the deal with Arum, but obviously Pacquiao wasn't happy with it, so they should've re-neogtiated. I think Pacquiao is worth at least 52/48, considering he's the number one in the sport at the moment, a proven US PPV draw on a number of occasions with many more great wins then Hatton and coming off a win against the biggest name in the sport.

Hatton did big US PPV numbers with Mayweather, but Pacquiao or another elite name would have done the same numbers I think, considering Mayweather had just beaten de la Hoya at light middleweight and was making big moves into the mainstream at that time with what that win brings. With the UK PPVs, he did huge numbers but they're about half-price of the US ones and with other opponents such as Malignaggi, the figures have been much lower - only 200,000 or less and Pacquiao has done more then that in the US.

Manny wants 60-40 but instead bob arum offered 52-48. In response to the 52-48 offer, Manny wanted to raise his guaranteed purse but they didn't give it so Manny didnt sign it. Manny would have taken 52-48

That lawyer sounded straightforward and didn't appear to be spinning this issue.

Given the dollars at stake, and that this was by far the most lucrative option for Pac, the possibility must at least be considered that he didn't want to face Hatton in the first place.

You want Hatton to sit on his thumbs for another month while Pac decides if he wants to earn a career high purse?

Time to move on, IF this fight doesn't happen its down to Manny. Plain and simple.
