Buddy stopped it becasue he'ds spent 11 rounds getting his arse handed to him , Hatton would have gone for the stoppage in the last so Buddy spared him it.... I can understand being annoyed but it was the right call.

all the holding came after the 2nd round and that right hand Hatton nailed Paulie with, At that moment Paulie realised he coldnt handle Hattons power and decided to spoil. Strange how he took Cotto the distance but Hatton made him look dire and the warning signs of hatton slipping were already there - odd

 

indeed one could argue that suggest Hatton hit harder than Cotto , but equally it could suggest the Cotto beating took a little bit out of Malinaggi

Im not trying to have a massive dig personally at Paulie and I thought he beat Diaz too

but for a supposed slickster he takes a lot of punches , even Ndou and Ngoudjo were able to nail him and neither of those guys are the silkiest about.

He's not a terrible fighter but maybe he ought to worry less about his movement and try to sit down on his shots a little more becasue he is too east to walk through.
