I was saying the original poster seemed to be suggesting that Hatton was abigger puncher than Cotto becasue paulie seemed to react worse to Rickys shots than he did Miguels and I was saying that maybe it was just that in the Hatton fight paulie wasnt quite as willing to trade as he had been with Cotto because of the damage he took.

It was a comment about Cotto comparing against Hatton thats all

 

Hatton was winning the fight comfortably, but it wasn't a real beating. Malignaggi could have continued to the end, that's what he was upset about.

On the other hand it was a poor performance and with his lack of puching power it was pointless to let it continue.

 

Fair enough I'm not gonna call any fighter a ***** I was only saying that he might be better served trying to gain the respect of an opponent a bit more becasue the path to beating him has been laid down now.


I dont like what he has said about Pac and the roids though. Unless he has evidence he needs to put a lid on that.

 

This was one of Hatton's most impressive performances...Malignaggi thought he was going to have an easy time with Ricky hatton and was surprised by how strong he was at 140lbs. He was much harder to time with the improvements made working with Mayweather Sr...this is one of the reasons why most thought the Pac fight was even money.

Everyone, including the Hatton camp, expected a much tougher fight against pac.

This is something that Mayflower should be mindful of.

Bladerunner is a sick film btw. And I never expected Hatton to dish out that level of beating either. I remember one guy on here agreed to have the union jack as an avatar permanantly if Malignaggi lost, I think he carried on posting for a couple of weeks after but then called it a day on that account.

Why why why, did Hatton produce his best performance against Paulie and let everything go out of the window against pac

Against Paulie, Hatton was fantastic!! you could see he had a great camp with Floyd snr and used his jab really well..

Don't get me wrong i'm not saying Hatton would have beaten Pac if he fought as smartly as he did against Paulie it's just I don't understand why he fighted like an ADHD kid on red bull, if he produced the fight he did against Paulie I think the pac fight would have been close

 

I interpret it as Paulie fighting ****.
