Flintoff interviewing sports stars about depression.

Hatton is on it, how he turned to drugs because he was depressed , even though he has been bang at it for years!!

Hatton was on the beak way before the Pac fight so he needs to shut his mouth.

Thats the first time I have heard Ricky say he new he was going to get beat walking to the ring and he was getting beat up by sparring partners what was Manny going to do.

Why did he tell his fans to get the house on him two days before?

I don't think that success/money or anything else makes you any less likely to get depressed. It's a mental condidtion that doesn't discriminate.

:good Yeah I think the same, my mates going mental on twitter about this "...i'd play football for free for spurs" etc but it goes beyond that. Money doesn't always bring happiness.

Rich/famous people aren't immune to illness, physical or mental.

    Really good programme so far

What is he supposed to say before the fight? 'I'm gonna lose...soz guys'

There was something up between him and Mayweather Sr in that fight. Has that come out yet? It seemed clear to me that all was not right in that camp.

yeah, I know thats the general line on this sort of thing but it still doesn't mean I want to listen to it when I have to get up at 5am tomorrow to plod away at the same boring job I've had for the last 15 years!

A lot of these guys arn't depressed, they've just got too much money, too much spare time on their hands and end up taking drugs or drinking too much.

    (IMHO!!)

No but getting on the Mic and declaring he is so sure he is going to win this fight I would advise people to get the house on me was a tad silly IMO, ok say I am going to win this fight etc etc, but he was literally telling people to bet big on him because he was so sure.

Please listen to this man, If it is honest opinion, it is usually spot on.

I agree I think some ( Hatton ) is a load of bull****, Steve Harmison seems a genuine case where he couldn't breathe and other symptoms.

Hatton sounded genuine to me. He may be using it as an excuse for the drugs or losses or whatever but he comes across as someone who's definitely suffered from depression in the past.

  15. Harmison was (well, is) just a gutless, pathetic little ******.

    Sorry.

    Hatton seems a genuine case.
