Ricky Hatton on Junior Witter (from The Ring magazine)

This fight would be huge for the UK and it should have already happened.

 

PRE ****ING CISLEY.This fight needs to happen for British bragging rights alone let alone the fact that both are 1 and 2.I fail to see how none of these Hatton lemmings can see this.

 

They don't want it because they know Witter's style is all wrong for Hatton.

Im not disputing the fact the fight should be made, i just disagree with the implication that Hatton is scared of Witter.

He has fought guys with a bigger punch, guys who are faster and in my opinion Witter wouldnt like the pressure and would probably go into his shell.

I reckon he will fight Paul M at MSG next which would hopefully set up a unification against Junior next Autumn.

 

Apparently hatton is fighting in may or april in manchester so that could be the big homecoming fight against junior witter. If hatton does beat witter all the haters on here will say he sholud of fought him after he beat corely instead of fighting castillo. Anything to hate on hatton! Ok if you were hatton and had the chance to fight PBf or Junior witter who would the haters choose!

 

I'm not saying he goes and hides under the bed when Witter's name is mentioned....but it's pretty obvious he's been avoiding the fight for years, and that's what it comes down to. No more bull**** excuses.
I'd pick Witter by KO. But that's only an opinion.
