Hatton has lost twice...to the no 1 and no 2 p4p fighters. The fact that he even got to fight both guys says a lot about him, but let's face it...he got ripped apart by Floyd and absolutely pole-axed by Pac. Had he been more competitive in either fight, he'd get a lot more respect. Also, like others said, he needs to stop blaming other people so much for why he got beat like that by Pacquiao.

 

When Hatton should have been fighting Witter he was fighting Stephen Smith, Aldo Rios et al, Hatton was number one in the wbo-his promoter at the time's own person belt and didn't fight Corley for it, didn't fight Cotto at 140, didn't fight Mayweather at 140 (which is why Mayweather moved up), didn't fight Gatti etc. So no, he wouldn't fight anyone. I give him credit for the fights he had at welterweight but let's not pretend he never avoided anyone.
