Spot on:good There's more going on here with regard too the Mayweather clan & GBP keeping their snouts deep into the HBO $$$$ trough, They can plunder another $2/300MILLION+ over the next 3+ years rather than risk all the marbles on one fight. Least we forget that until Pac gate crashed the DLH/GBP party there was already a nice cosy plan being put into place with DLH/Hatton set for Wembley with 100K turnout & possibly a Floyd re-match, it's a business after all & as schaffer said in Boxing News GBP have taken Hatton promotions on board so to launch themselves into Europe & take on Warren/Saurland & Palle. Oscar only carried on fighting so as to give GBP the up front appearence aspect & this all got shredded by Pacquiao & let Top Rank/Bob Arum back onto the scene as a major player. GBP & especially Schaffer realised that there is plenty of $$$$$$$$$ to be plundered over here in Europe & not just stick to the planet America mentality & it was the Hatton/Maywether fight that shook them up. From a cynical business perspective Mayweather/GBP & Top Rank/Bob Arum do not want this fight to go down as Arum would rather pacman fight in-house & GBP/Mayweather's can loot the HBO trough with selected opponants & still reep massive $$$$$$. **** what the fight fans want, we don't count.
Yeah...... I suppose there is an element to his improvement that can't be explained logically. Definitely strength-wise a man who was basically even with Marquez shouldn't be bullying Hatton, Cotto and (to a point) Clottey. It will all come out in the wash I'm sure :hey
I know mate.:good. I was just trying to tell people that Bolt is the cleanest athlete on planet earth.. The guy is my hero..:good Greatest athlete I've ever seen in my life..
yea sound pal:good. the bloke is an absolute machine. wat was 9.56 or something. awesome. hes on about doing the 400 in the next couple of years aswell aint he:good
Yeah mate I watched documentary on him last weekend and he said he will think about the 400m when he's done the best he feels he can do on the 100 & 200.. I am definitly going to the 100m & 200m finals in London in 2012.. That'll be special that will mate..:good
He just looks like he is jogging..... it's ridiculous :nut That 200m record will go below 19s very soon  I guess each event (and sport really) has a person that breaks all records out of sight, to a point where everyone else seems average. Thinking of a few..... Jonathan Edwards - triple jump Sergei Bubka - pole vault Kevin Young - 400m hurdles etc etc..... I was going to suggest Flo-Jo but there's got to be a suspicion that she was cheating :hey
I'm not all that big on Brian Lara to be honest, probably more due to his personality than anything else, a whiny, spoilt ***** He's undoubtedly in the top 30 or so batsmen but in terms of his overall achievements as a cricketer I think he falls short when compared with the other leading players of this era. The one thing that does elevate him is his performances against Australia in Australia...... which was (and still is) the acid test for players wanting to call themselves great players. I'd say Ponting and Tendulkar are/were better players..... others like Yousuf, the Waugh twins and Jayawardene run him close as well.
Fight would happen if Pacman is not trying to place restriction un the unfettered drug testing. What has he got to hide.
didnt think he was placing restrictions. thought he was willing to do it like every other fight that he had which was within the governing bodies rules
i don't care if he's juicing or not...pacman has improved his skills....that's for all to see...even brother nazim said that on 24/7.... anyone who knows boxing can tell the guy throws better punches and thinks more than in the first marquez fight where he basically was just the big left hand and lots of work rate. some of my top sporting heroes are guys who juiced or took peds....like lance armstrong.... ......miguel indurain.....RJJ.... JT .....and many others..... the juicing doesn't take away from the skills and special things they achieved.
Really? I'd say taking drugs most definitely takes away from what people achieve..... as they are gaining an unfair advantage over other athletes, it's a form of cheating.
