I know Ricky Hatton beat a old Kostya Tszyu into quiting in Tszyu's last fight, but untill that point Hatton had not fought any top 10 guys and since then he has fought alot of top 5 at 140 and has never lost at that weight so who was the greater 140 fighter.

Put it this way, Kosta beat Jesse James Leija while Leija in return is the kind of fighter that would trouble Hatton alot

Kostya Tszyu at the moment imo.

If Hatton has 2-3 more very credible fights at 140lbs and prevails then it will be a close one.

Kostya Tszyu made Zab Judah do the crack head dance in what what most people feel was his biggest fight, and Ricky Hatton made the loud mouth trash talker Paulie Malignaggi cry on live Tv, so I got this a pick-em so far.

    Tszyu.

He has a better resume and if they fought when Kostya was in his prime i believe Tszyu would have won.

Tszyu had a longer career and better resume.

If Hatton gets three more credible wins at 140, then it will be close.

Tszyu but he has a very catchable legacy, from last nights perfromance i think he'll notch up a few more good wins and even it up.

Hatton, just thought id be different.Fed up of the amount of **** the guy gets.Hes not the worlds best and would get found out off a few up at Welter. But at 140 i think hes untouchable and should he unify every belt at 140 it wont be good enough for some bitter *******s on here.Hattons career has been thouroughly entertaining and has been a breath of fresh air for British boxing.Frank Warren has strangled the sport over here and Hatton broke the shackles and got over into America.Who cares whether he lost to Mayweather or loses to De La Hoya. The fact that hes even moving in these circles is a rarity in British boxing and as usual will probably only be appreciated when hes been retired 10 years!
