Floored. Wasn't expecting that after a day of such highs for boxing. Gutting news

    RIP Ricky Hatton.

Real sad. Watched him from winning the WBU title against Tony Pep all up to the ill-advised comeback. There really was only one Ricky Hatton went it came to creating an atmosphere. No other Brit has buzzed the crowd as much since.

Real sad. Completely doubted him the night he outhustled Tszyu.

I met him about 12 years ago, he was a true people's champ. Even whilst his security were trying to usher him away, he stopped for all fans that asked for pics.

"...he survived suicide attempts and overcame an fallout with his family who he made up with after addressing his own mental health."

Damn, that was a rough read, because I immediately pictured him and his family from the 24/7 series; they were so happy back then.
