    It's not arrogance or anything.

    He is just thick.

His 7 year old son has just taught him to count.

    Not really.

I have little interest in football rivalries. In the case of Leeds and Manchester Utd it is largely one way.

    Hatton fan BTW.

I'm not a hater of Hatton at all, but I do agree that it's pretty annoying the way he thinks the P4P #1 title is transferable, like if De La Hoya had beaten Pacman that would of made him the #1, and then Hatton would talk about fighting De La Hoya for the #1 spot.

He also still regards his WBU belt as a genuine world title, which is another annoying thing.

Yeah I agree, P4P is just something based on opinions it isn't set in stone and isn't transferrable just by beating somebody regarded as the #1.

As for the third person thing though, I've noticed a lot of boxers talk like that.

A lot of guys do it, but it still pisses me off.

I would like to see Hatton dump the IBO in the trashcan though...... but given that he is probably allowed to defend the belt without a sanctioning fee he won't.

The IBO are keen to increase their scope, by having Hatton, Klitschko, Diaz etc, as champs, they are able to do it.

HBO need to step in with a symbolic dumping, as after Lewis vs Holy I.

He is a professional boxer of 11 years, fighting 46 times, with a 76% KO ratio, 6 time, 2 weight world champion, who is in the top 3 (if not the best) light welterweights of all time.

He knows a lot more about boxing than you, you ****ing cheb.

Hatton is right in this case...

He is most certainly not the greatest Light Welterweight of all time. Most of the great fighters have only passed through - DLH and PBF are two recent examples of this - but even at that you have the likes of Aaron Pryor and JCC who I would regard as being superior to Hatton.

Better than nothing I'd say. Being in the P4P ranks is a special thing in itself but to be #1 is something only a small percentage of boxers can ever claim.
