What happens if you guys are right:think

I want to know seriously why is Freddy claiming that Manny is having a B Rated training camp? why do we keep hearing how distracted Manny Pacquiao is....?

Do you think its just to sell the fight, (I beleive thats part of it)

But I also beleive that Freddy is saying this for two reasons.....

    1) what if manny struggles with Tony? or even looks some what vunerable... you think Roach is using this as an excuse so he can still go after the mayweather fight?:think

    2) I honestly think its becuase Roach isnt exactly 100% about this fight, and I think that its a pre excuse made should manny struggle or lose....

but what if all of that is true, Hatton and Cotto both being shot, DLH ( being weight drained and we know he was)
and Clottey taking a dive for Mr Arum...

to me Margarito is not the type to sell himself short like that, and being that Margarito is obviously in the best shape of his life, perhaps Roach has had to rethink about this fight a bit.... and the best way to cover your tracks is to throw **** out there like this...
The mother ****ers train in Hollyweird anyways, everybodys an actor out here.... I beleive honestly Roach is trying to get Tony to come in over confident and come out guns blazing..... but a part of me still thinks Roach is having his doubts and it has nothing to do with Manny being distracted it has more to do with the catchweight possibly working in favor of Margarito, and the possibility that Tony isnt shot, the possibility that Tony never loaded his gloves prior to the Mosley fight.

I think Roach is banking on all three, Tony being shot, the catch weight and the cheating his entire career... if he is wrong they lose.....

i don't think so, i believe the whole "bad traing camp" stuff is to garner interest in the public for a fight that many view as a mismatch.

Nice overusage of an overused word. Regardless of whether the opponents were shot or not doesn't do that much to take away from Pacquiao, he was the smaller guy coming up and he knocked them all out easily.

Pacquiao's camp is fine, 24/7 is just trying to make you believe that Margo has a chance so that you get interested, the show afterall is just a giant promotion. Freddy and everyone else in camp is happy to play along. Manny will turn Margo all night and pot shot him through his leaky defence, he's just keeping busy while we wait for a Mayweather fight.

Exaclty, but I do agree camp is going fine as well, but I think Roach is setting this B level camp theory up for the possible WHAT IF senario....

I don't think Roach is throwing it out there in case of an upset, just to spark interest.

Quote in bold is exactly how I see the fight playing out.

Margarito looked like a beast during training for his last fight, he was with his new trainer and everything...

Did you watch that fight? If Margarito fights even 300% better than that fight, he still gets destroyed. He looked very ordinary against Garcia

It is not out of the question that's for sure, especially in today's fight game.

Pacquiao's speed will take away Margarito's advantage in height and strength.

You should add this in your thread title: Margarito - slow like molasses.

Roach isn't trying to convince anyone that he is having the worst camp ever. Just look at the Pac-Margarito promotional tour. Have you guys seen Pac so seemingly fat (for him at least)? Training in the Philippines with all the distractions have always been a problem even back in the Morales days. And no, Roach did not make up the part of Pac being a Congressman. He also did not make up the part about Pac traveling 5 hours to Manila on Sundays to do a mini marathon and meet the President. People can see on video that Pac looks like he's slowed down a little bit. The past week Roach closed doors in the Wild Card gym to all media because Pac was still behind schedule in training. Latest word is that Pac is back on track. Now Team Pac is saying he is ready. Does that still sound like hype?

you gotta remember that despite how shot they were, he DESTROYED that competition.

    hatton incredible KO
    cotto destroyed by the 6th
DLH embarassed didnt win a round
clottey didnt win a round, **** fight as too scared to open up

now if he had SD'd 12 a couple or even UD12 then that's different, but he looked damn impressive with what he did.

your just repeating what Roach has said, you dont look at the counter parts...
Truth is its just as hard to time someone who is bigger, longer than you are and with an akward style... example of this is Vivian Harris vs Carlos Maussa mother ****er was slow as **** wide as **** and still knocked out harris.

Speed isnt always a sure win, Forrest vs Mosley, and how many speedy little guys lost to slower plotters in the history of this sport.

Manny is going to have to take two steps before he can even be in range to hit tony.... that gives Tony plenty of time to adjust...

Don't worry about what Roach said, Pacquiao is going to beat Margarito and you know it

The excuses you bringing up if Pacquiao gets defeated will never be use anyway because Pacquiao will defeat Margarito.
