Exactly thats why hes not exicting to me. A few years ago I thought he was im more what have you done for me lately and I havent seen Hatton in a exicting fight in his last 3. I always hear Mayweather-Hatton was good for the sport all I saw was a hug fest with a bunch of drunk Brits singing the same song over and over until one lefthook later and Hattons running into the ring post. The fight was more a joke to me then anything.
Was there a no ring post clause in this 3 fight deal?:huh I like hatton, but the way he's acting now is a little questionable. Hopefully he steps up to the plate and fights the quality opponents that are out there at 140.
I agree with most on this thread, Hatton on Hbo is a good thing. But get away from the Ruiz impersonations, and get back to Hatton of a few years ago. I hope he takes on someone better than Lazcano. JL is no longer a threat. 140 is full of fighters on a similar level, and all beneath Hatton. Holt, Torres, Mallignagi, Witter, and a couple others are all better than Lazcano, by a wide margin. And Hatton would be favored in all of them. I'm assuming Hbo might allow a Lazcano type of fight to keep him viable for the last and biggest fight on that contract. Pac, Diaz, or even Dlh.
