He did the same with Billy Graham. The two went on to fall out. Fact is Billy was perfect for Hatton. But clearly not perfect for his ego.

mayweather told that guy to stop lunging and move his head.
mayweather should have been with his fighter tho, that was wrong.
it was a good ko but im pissed hatton didnt last i like to watch long fights
Mosley Mayorga was perfect for me
or shanes 1st welter weight fight.
    ko at the end

Many fighters had far worse excuses, Hatton isn't doing anything new.

Hatton being the King in this regard?

I don't know about that, many fighters have excuses for days.

Angel Manfredy with stuff like "this is politics", "no excuses, but I felt spacy in there", and "Courtney Burton didn't beat Angel Manfredy, depression beat Angel Manfredy".

George Foreman after Zaire, blaming everything from the ropes to being drugged to (I love this one) saying "I was about to knock out Ali but I got distracted by seeing my friend in the audience betray me by cheering for Ali". Mind you I read this in his book, By George, which came out in the 1990s, TWO DECADES after The Rumble in the Jungle. Foreman would go on about how he finally "accepted" the loss, but just a couple years ago, he repeated his "I was drugged" claim.

Vinny Paz actually blamed his loss to Roy Jones on coming down too quickly from a caffeine high.

Almost every fighter will have an excuse for losing, its not in their nature to so easily give in that another man bested them straight up.

Hatton could have milked his fans by fighting constant no hopers, and still brought in the money, babysitting titles, ect.

But instead he tried fighting at 147 (a weightclass he obviously shouldnt be at) and also went after the two best fighters of our time, and two best of ALL time for that matter, and its the only time he ever tasted defeat.

He has praised both Mayweather and Pac for their wins, so its not like hes simply not giving credit where credit is due.

In order to be the greatest fighter in the world, you have to be the greatest liar in the world.

The best was when his family tried to claim it was an imposter Ricky hatton who was fighting Pac.

Just give it up, man. I think people need to stop jumping down his throat now, it's boring. He's been a great fighter for British Boxing, and to be honest, when Mayweather did beat him after the fight his first words were jokingly "what a fluke that was." I don't think he's bitter about it, maybe he might be a little deluded, especially thinking he was winning Round 2 with Pac, but he did give credit to them for the victories, but no fighter wants to truly admit the other man was better than them, for some that really hurts, and some can't get over it. It's not as if he was like Matthew Hatton after the N'Dou fight, that was ridick.
