I'm sure the forum is largely representative of hardcore boxing fans. In that case, proportionally quite a few people would care about how Hatton blatantly avoided Witter. Many of these "contributors" have no agenda, and simply wanted to see a good fight, better than most of Hatton's resume, which was stolen from us in broad daylight.

    1. Hatton had the better career than Witter.

    2. I would have liked for Hatton to go the domestic route, never happened to a certain extent the WBU years where a waste.

    3. Witter was to Hatton, what Barry George is to women (not dangerous just a weirdo stalker).

    4. Hatton could do with a decent reign as a champ, although Urango winning again looks good.

    5. People slated the **** out of Hatton for taking Lazcarno as a come back fight. For those people please, please recall Witters come back opponent after his loss to Bradley and tell me with a straight face his was better.

    6. That is all for me.

:rofl I wonder if he hit a ringpost. It surely wouldn't be as damaging with the padding of the headgear.

All Witter has ever been for a good proportion of the people on here is a convienient stick to beat Hatton with. The way so many of the same people moved straight over to the totally unproven Bradley was funny and embarrassing at the same time.

  9. Yeh

So far the reasons wev'e got for there Hate of Hatton, is that he makes money, Promotes himself and apparently needs to prove himself and fight the P4P no 1 in Junior Witter..... Oh wait

I must have missed the Bradley stuff, but Witter has been a fairly constant theme.

For the simple reason Hatton blatantly and obviously ducked him.

Just before the Mallinaggi fight you were ready to "strip" Hatton of his number 1 ranking at 140 and install the toally unproven Bradley there instead. You had some weird logic that because he Hatton wasn't impressive in the Lascano fight and his fight before that had seen him knocked out at welterweight that Bradley was the new number 1 at 140. To be fair, you've never mentioned it since then so I guess it was just a rush of blood/ temporary insanity?

I don't actually remember that post, that being the case; yes.

Hatton ducking Witter is a convenient stick to beat Hatton with like JC defending the WBO strap for years on end is a tree trunk to beat Calzaghe with. They both did actually happen.

I've no problem with Hatton fighting bigger names than Witter, what sticks in my throat is him fighting all those lightweights and superfeatherweights instead. Hatton spent a few years getting the same treatment Khan's getting now, it's partly his fault, it's partly Warren's. There's definately a serious conflict of interest being managed by your promotor.

he wasn't knocked cold, he was stopped on his feet after a flash knockdown and a standing count! It was in boxing news!
