    Hatton is more famous for the fights that he lost and the fights he didnt have than the fights he won against WBU tomato cans. The second he fought Mayweather and Pacman is when his career ended, He should of stuck to fighting WBU fighters in the MEN.

    YOU PEOPLE ON HERE, the man fought many good nights for yous, and i think frank warren should take the blame for not fighting witter as ricky definatly would have, he only got to fight pbf, manny, by leaving waren, henry cooper or frank bruno dident do as much as hatton, but when they failed, people were impressed with there brave efforts, leave ricky alone, he done the best he could and fought the elite when he was in charge, im perfectly happy and impressed with his career.

    The Hatton hate is a discrace.

    People sh it on him for getting sparked out by May/Pac, The same people who complain about protecting the '0' ruining boxing.

    Jelous Haters, Hatton in a different leauge to Witter, and if they had fought and Hatton had knocked him out like he would have, you sad people would just find another way to sh it on him.

    What the man did for Brittish boxing was outstanding, he got the mainstream back involved

    different leauge to witter at what sniffing coke having a padded c v,
    and am i right in thinking castillio hardly got paid for the hatton fight he owed most of his purse out for not making weight in his fight before hatton, i aint sure but i think i read this somewhere .

    Magee was ranked higher than Witter and considered a more dangerous fight, which he was.

    No he wasnt. Boxing Monthly had him ranked at number 3 behind Witter.

    and the british boxing board of control had him ranked 2 behind hatton and ahead of witter

    and here is a hatton quote from the time "your zab judahs and kostya tszyus, these best fighters in the world, I want to be in with them, but if fights come up in the meantime with the likes of eamonn magee, who is considered my most dangerous domestic rival, or junior witter, then fantastic."

    Ok just dug out my Boxing Monthly from May 2002 ( and no im NOT joking ).
    Heres the rankings from May 2002 prior to Rickys fight in June with Eamonn Magee:

    1: Ricky Hatton 28-0 WBU
    2: Jason Rowlands 25-2
    3: Junior Witter 22-1-2 Lonsdale (British Champion)
    4: Eamonn Magee 23-2 Commenwealth Champ.

    If you want i can even scan and paste the article. As i said Witter WAS ranked ahead of Magee albeit at number 3 and not number 2.
    This is the problem with you Hatton fans. You live in an alternate reality and refuse to acknowledge the joke that was Hatton's career during his domestic reign. If you can even call it that... Only one fight for a domestic belt against Thaxton where he was cut to ribbons. And umpteen defences of non descript belts.

    they had jason rowland at number two over a ****ing cut stoppage over thaxton, rowland struggled with thaxton, magee legitimately stopped him with a brilliant flurry, hatton struggled with thaxton immesnely, magee sure didnt.

    read less magazined and watch more fights
