I've havn't seen any ticket prices yet. £250 was just what I mentally put aside when I was totting up the cost.

I'm sure it is the MGM grand that is holding it, as I edited my previous post to say. I starting to think the tickets have not been released yet

The MGM looks favorite, have you seen anything confirming it?

mgm or the mandalay bay, i went to the bay for castillo corales and its a top venue, but probably not quite as prestigeous as mgm. either way, i can see along night in store on two phones and the web the night tickets go on sale

For what its worth I read somewhere that the Spice Girls have been bumped from the MGM to the Mandalay on the 8th to make way for the fight...might well be bollocks though?

my brother has booked his flights and he was looking at the mgm website, it had all the seating sections (a,b,c, etc.) and the prices allocated to each section (ie. section C ringside was $5500) for the fight

come to think of it, it may not have been the MGM website, but the information attributed to it was all about the seating arrangements in the MGM if that makes sense, he got a tip off from holiday company as to where and when to pick up tickets

Here's a novel idea, why not stick the fight in a bigger venue :patsch

Tell me about it! The arrogance on this subject from the Yanks in the General Forum is shocking.

It is ****ing awful, they argue with you saying that Calzaghe never fights out of britain he needs to come to america. Emmm hold on a minute when was the last time Floyd Mayweather ever ****ing stepped out of America for a fight???

Don't give me the **** about more money if they had 80,000 in Wembley for the Hatton/ PBF fight an average of 100 quid a pop for a ticket that's at least 8 million just in ticket sales, add in merchandise, advertising/sponsorship, PPV the money would be unbelievable.

Theres a saying, about trying to sell a dead donkey (I forget how it goes), and it is perfectly applicable to the american public that post in the General forum, blinded by ignorance

Yep it is. Mayweather would rather fight in LV for less money. Hatton is giving up weight, money and venue. If and when he wins there can be no excuses from PBF.

I would love RH to win if only to see all the bitching and excuses from the general forum, this ":patsch " emoticom would come in quite handy on a cold winter's sunday morning

Let me guess what they'll say. PBF was a natural super feather. PBF was coming down in weight. PBF was distracted by fans singing during rounds. Ricky had the audacity to throw punches at PBF. Ricky took the ultimate liberty by not being scared of of Floyd, he didn't hesitate, and worst of all he fought non stop for 12 rounds (he was meant to get tired, floyd was robbed, bah bah bah.)
